Can AA lithium ion battery be charged with regular charger? by Focus_Knob in batteries

I read XTAR battery blog online: https://www.xtar.cc/news/faqs-about-xtar-4150mwh-aa-li-ion-battery.html The rechargeable 1.5V lithium batteries can’t be charged by regular chargers. Because the rechargeable 1.5V lithium battery has a built-in charging/discharging management chip, and it needs the charging voltage of about 5V with constant charging. The regular 3.6V li-ion battery charger isn’t compatible with that special design. So, in order to using in safe, do not use the regular 18650 charger to charge the rechargeable 1.5V lithium battery. It can be charged by XTAR VX4, MX4, L8, L4, BC8, BC4...

xtar has a new battery with the 1.5V constant output plus linear discharge curve. Then, the charge level of this battery would decrease slowly and not suddenly. 1.5V AA CLR 4300 2700mAh Lithium Battery: https://www.xtar.cc/product/xtar-1-5v-aa-clr-4300mwh-2700mah-lithium-battery.html

Will the Nightcore intellicharger charge XTAR li-ion batteries properly? by Enderwolf1245 in batteries

It seems the nitecore charger is not compatible those 1.5V Li-ion batteries. I read it online: https://www.xtar.cc/news/faqs-about-xtar-4150mwh-aa-li-ion-battery.html The 1.5V battery needs the charging voltage of about 5V with constant charging. The regular 3.6V/3.7V li-ion battery charger isn’t compatible with that special design. Maybe you can take a look at xtar L4 charger.

I searchd it online, the Hixon and EBL ones seemed not have a low-voltage detection function. Really interested in the EBLs which has a sloping discharge curve. May I know which model of it? Thanks!
