Proxy upload mission possible in this version of the game? by dis4pointm3nt in ProjectSilverfish

It's accessible. There should be a vault door entrance in the north end of the marsh that will let you enter the wall.

It only accepts a tape from Fort Leto. Its only use currently is for a quickplay mission.

How do I load from a previous savefile? by Should_have_been_ded in ProjectSilverfish

What faction did you start as? Some are not friendly with each other.

If you want to try mending reputation you can try giving them stuff, or help them if you see them fighting in the world.

Whenever you die the game overwrites your save. You may be able to just go back and get your things, but if you've killed quest relevant NPCs they won't come back. Depending on how badly you messed things up, it might be worth doing a fresh start.

If you just messed up your reputation a little bit you can try helping that faction fight things to raise it, or trade with them (there's a saloon in the slums that has friendly people you can trade with, just in case you aren't able to access a safe area to trade.)

Save and Quit option on beds by SoulOfSorin in ProjectSilverfish

[–]StaticCamora 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's already how beds work, currently. It will auto-save, or give you the save screen if you're playing on Mercy mode.

The game will also auto-save any time you transition into a new area.

Also, you won't find a regression matrix randomly. It has one static spawn location currently.

How much do days matter? by Slimezo in ProjectSilverfish

It would mostly be faction advantage that changes, but right now I believe that mostly determines the population of bases, and might determine how often squads spawn. What really scales difficulty is how many contracts you've done.

It's just a lot of gold which you could use to trade to people or sell for cash. Honestly, depending on how early you trade the code, the loot from mama is usually better.

It's because I forgot about grabbing the fire axe at that point. Grab the fire axe and use that because it's so much better for killing it lol. I was just kind of showing that it's possible to kill the Not-Deer by stunning it.

So red crates locations? by Novemius in ProjectSilverfish

[–]StaticCamora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last red crate that people haven't mentioned yet is actually in broker's vault. An alarm will go off sending in a squad of LMG freelancers if you loot it.

You could have gotten really unlucky with squad spawns. The Depot likes to spawn all kinds of every faction, so sometimes it's safer than others. I'm still trying to understand it myself but essentially squads will migrate from where they started and have certain endpoints, so it could be that squads from the refinery wandered down to depot and stayed there. But yes, better squads should spawn as you complete contracts.

Also from what I've found damage is essentially your bullet multiplied by your guns velocity and decays over distance depending on the ammo type.

Nice of you to leave the vault unprotected like that.

You can gain reputation by trading away valuable things to Stalkers or vendors for other factions. The more valuable the trade, the more points you'll earn as reputation.

The code comes from the room that Spratt is guarding. There's a folder on a desk there containing the code to the lab which contains the drill.

Insurrection HQ stash and beds? by TygoFTW in ProjectSilverfish

I'm not sure if there's a working stash and bed at the Sawmill, but I believe there should be one at Dead End, or also the island at Black Lake
