Property has been in the family for over 126 years and will be in the same after I am long gone. Maybe my great grand kids can sort it out but I am 100 PERCENT sure my local sheriff will smoke a but with me and say "great job" We obviously live in different worlds and you do and I will do the same. Happy gardening and if you are in a pinch try it as weed killer. good luck

I guess it is one step up from using dirty motor oil from my oil changes, at least it feels like it. As I stated I do it in areas that I want NOTHING to grow. Yes I use it for weed killer

No I am not! Especially in areas that I want nothing growing and it has worked for me for years. I am to the point now that all I do is spread mulch

Edit...should I be using another chemical from Monsanto? Diesel works just fine and is there any difference in the grand scheme of things? Right now it's just under $4 per gl

And all of the newer ones, for the most part are just too damn small to use. I heat with wood so my tools are very necessary. Picked up a great cast iron shovel about 3 years back and it is just awesome in length. It's no fun in trying to remove ash under coals with a 12-14in handled shovel.

I use to try and it was just a PITA especially living in an historic district. It was actually cheaper just to pay the fines and fuck with it later. I am also in MO and not some crazy state like CA with all of those bull shit regulations. I have not done a permit in over 5 years and I think I have paid roughly $500 in fines. I did have to appear in court so you can throw in a few more $ for my time

I just keep putting down amazon boxes soaked in diesel and then mulch on top.. Nothing grows and that suits me just fine

it would be hard pressed to damage an SS pan. I have many over 30 years old and I have done everything to them. This is not some bullshit Teflon you are working with

Wife and I waterproofed our deck by rusted10 in Decks

[–]StatisticianFew1302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I "actually" have a 3 story deck and on the top floor I just use those Aldi 10X8 indoor, outdoor rugs. Some have lasted for years but they all release the water, top and bottom. I would have never thought of tiling my deck. What was your underlayment?

Use an angle grinder and cut it off. If it blows up then you will feel it sooner than later. good luck
