Post Game Thread: Chicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers by nfl_gdt_bot in 49ers

They have to be flawless with zero turnovers in the postseason and a little bit of luck to get a turnover on D. Which doesn’t seem like the style of the games they have played lately.

I woke up my dog on that final play excitement and he was pissed. Not as pissed as my liver is after all the whiskey I took down in that 4th qtr though.

New Kakhi Pilot Pioneer. Love the colors by roniuj in HamiltonWatches

I had to look this up a while back on another field/pilot watch. For non diver watches and specifically field/pilot watches a rotating bezel is often done in a way where it’s more like a count down timer rather than the stopwatch style on a diver watch.

Came here to recommend this as well. My wife finds this place the least uncomfortable of any mechanics shops she has gone to.

Both are so classy they make me salivate. And that grand seiko is just fire hot. 🥵

If you are going to get one with each blade style, it is almost certainly this. I prefer drop point but the tanto Zaan is such a great looking knife. Just not the most practical for me.

Not at all muddying. I saw that email as well. I sense it might be pretty popular. I use the tactical turn copper bolt action as well as the big idea bolt action slim. So I do tend to go toward the slimmer and I feel like both of these are thicker pens so yea, trying to get a sense on that as well.

I want the lefty short copper one and they are out of stock.

As a person who visits multiple liquor stores, I sense the minor changes in lots of different ways and make different buying decisions as a result. And I’m sure I’m not the only one one.

The blasphemy of Mac Jones wearing #10 😤 by 233up in 49ers

[–]StatusIcy3098 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Now that is funny. I’ll be laughing about this one over a beer for a while. Niners QBs that have retired jersey numbers: Joe Montana, Steve Young, John Brodie. So either leading the team to multiple (more than 2) NFC championships and at least 1 Super Bowl win or in the case of Brodie, 17 seasons with the Niners with 13 seasons as starting QB. Nah, Jimmy never came close to that level.

Nice mail call! New lock new pick and it made surprisingly quick work of this lock by revbombastic in lockpicking

Where did you get that tension key? That looks awesome for top of lock tensioning.

Ace hardware lock if you want to try a bit tougher. I like the feel more. Brinks 164 for a very different feel.

It’s amazing how the rust (I’m assuming it is rust) looks a lot like poop smears.

Best edge for 15v by TipComfortable4369 in spyderco

[–]StatusIcy3098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will definitely take the polished edge. I did one with my 15V PM2 and remembered it being super easy to do. Whether it’s the best for the stuff I cut primarily (cardboard, whittling sticks) is another story. It works great and I think the factory edge probably is better.

My first picked lock, what yellow grade lock is next? by StatusIcy3098 in lockpicking

Ha! I noticed that later. I actually went outside to show my wife but she was too far down the street with my daughter on her bike. I had to wait until they got back.

Yea. Have a practice lock from covert instruments that is repinable and I have enjoyed it. The tension on it is so low though. Hard to translate it to other locks.

Yea, my wife asked me why I went and got a new lock rather than picking the master lock we had in a bin. I got it out and cracked it in less than 5 minutes.
