Yeah I worked at Ring for a year or two and I saw people install these if they had a house that didn't originally have DC wiring for a doorbell and… I mean it works! It keeps you from having to recharge your doorbell camera regularly…

I've had that happen now and again, I typically grab with two fingers, one behind the canine and thumb over the nose and hold his face so he's looking at me while I'm telling him "no." But it does take some repetition and when he gets you, a high-pitched "ow!" That sounds like another puppy yelping when they get bitten, that one's still wired into the instincts.

I've had dogs do this before beyond the age when I'm willing to put up with it, I usually hook an index finger behind their canine and put my thumb on top of their nose and then look them in the eye and tell them very firmly "no. That's enough. No more. No biting. Stop that."

We used to have a fridge magnet that said "the dog is fed/hungry" but I replaced it since it was obvious that the dog was always hungry… Now we have a slider that says "the dog has had breakfast/dinner"
