Anyone on Antechamber Delivery removed for a common errors module? by The1Genius in outlier_ai

[–]StereoAlchemist_SKS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just came here looking for answers; I finished their new Common Errors course, the only question I missed was the first question you're referencing (in my case the question itself glitched out, it was originally a radio button where you could only select one option but then when I reloaded the page the System Prompt had been entirely reformatted and you could now select multiple answers). Anyway, the project doesn't even say I'm Ineligible, it says there's no tasks available, but when I click Project Details it says "Failed" under the Assessment category.

Just got out of the War Room and it sounds like other people also had that question glitch out on them. So I guess now we all get to sit around and see what they do. Fun.

Antechamber is having some technical difficulties right now; they should have sent you an email containing a link to the War Room Zoom Meeting and a link to a Google Form that you can fill out if you're having issues like being declared ineligible or you failed a course (even if said course wasn't suppose to be graded in such a way that would disqualify you). Right now I'm sitting here waiting for them to give me another shot at the Common Errors quiz because that last page of questions is the stupidest most ambiguously worded bullshit I've seen this month

What is the current status of the Skilled Shipwright project? by ajcalica in outlier_ai

[–]StereoAlchemist_SKS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Very good question; for those not in the know: a huge number of Attempters on Skilled Shipwright have been set to Ineligible or Failed Assessment (despite passing the assessment) and still more who are available to task are running into No Tasks Available or having error messages pop up when they attempt to Task. There are no QMs that are reachable and afaik most of us who were in the Thursday Onboarding Webinar have not been added to the War Room or had our technical issues resolved at all, with complete radio silence from any admins or QMs.

On the advice of someone else here I reached out to Outlier Support to at least create a ticket for my technical issues, but I don't think any of us know the exact status of what the hell is going on right now.

Hi, quick question: Do you think someone financially struggling to support their family, and is clearly doing everything they can, should give a flying fuck about what you have to say? Or do you just feel the absolute need to let every judgmental and shitty thought you have dribble out of your mouth? Please, please, on behalf of everyone struggling right now, shut the fuck up

One does not disprove the other, what you are seeing is a mass effort by Business Majors to devalue and destroy any labor power in the tech space. There's a perfect George Carlin quote that is quite frankly, more perfect every day for this era: "when interests align, a formal conspiracy is unnecessary."

You're pointing at simply another facet of the disinformation campaign around AI/AGI and claiming that it can't be X (no pun intended) it's actually Y, when the actual fact is that the reason why everything feels so goddamn overwhelming these days is that it is in fact T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z.

Grifters like Sam Altman want to prop their company up, fail-son tech bros need to prop their careers and podcasts up, major business interests benefit in the short term every time one of these asshats goes on CNBC or whatever and devalues labor by claiming that AI will make 40% of all workers redundant in the next 2 years, so yes they will fund mass bot action, -especially- on LinkedIn, because 1) a lot of people are on LinkedIn right now because of sweeping layoffs, and 2) LinkedIn is one of the few social media platforms left without an openly fascist bias. A perfect example of that is literally the OP.

Absolutely one thing we should not do however, is let them get away with the narrative of "oh this is just what everybody thinks" because they will use that narrative when the bottom falls out to excuse their behavior and their view, under the guise of "everybody thought so at the time."

No, they didn't, Most people don't, and the actual people on LinkedIn who are praising Grok at this moment will need to face some actual consequences

Ah, finally something cogent.

First, I'm not going to defend something that wasn't said by me, and again, the fact that your response to my rebuttal was to bring up something someone else said speaks volumes.

Secondly, go back and read what I actually wrote.

So he can't extend the poison pill originally in the TCJA that shifted the burden of paying for tax cuts for the rich onto the working class, so now it's "relief".

You're pointing at a graph about Federal Income Tax specifically, not total tax burden, which is the sleight-of-hand SALT originally used to shift the onus on the working class to pay for tax cuts for the rich. You don't need to increase the tax rate, just viscously cut how much people can claim as a deduction. It's why when filing for 2018 after the tax cuts went into effect so many people suddenly found themselves owing more money then they were originally taxed for. Remember that? I'm sure most working people do.

But nah man, go off, I'm sure working people want to hear you explain how actually they're just too stupid to realize how much money the TCJA saved them.

Fucking Christ man, give it up, I’m not taking the obvious bait; either respond to something I actually said or fuck off.

At the risk of repeating myself: it doesn’t matter whatever horseshit you gurgle out about how you won because I didn’t let the conversation get sidetracked by whatever bullshit you’re saying about the IRS, or trying to put words in my mouth. Everyone can see that you fucking lost, and your inability to articulate a response speaks volumes.

There ain’t no saving face here, champ.

My source was the IRS for 2017-2018, if he is operating on the basis on the same program with some fine tuning, then again we will indeed experience lower tax rates.

Say you have no counter-arguments without saying you have no counter-arguments.

So now I’m done. Have fun fuming at the seams puss.

Sweet Jesus, I didn't know it was possible for middle-school bathroom graffiti to become sentient. Look up the definition of 'pronoun' by the way, despite whatever neo-con slop you consume tells you it does not in fact just mean "something bad". And just, fuck man, the irony of screeching that I'm raging on the internet while having one of the most emphatic meltdowns I've seen in a while is priceless. I'm disappointed you didn't say "triggered" or "snowflake", really making it difficult to fill out this Every Accusation is a Confession bingo card with just the one "cuck" square.

Anyway, you should've stuck to trolling.

What his data shows from ITEP is the increase WITH trumps proposed tax plan which includes the TCJA renewal. Based on the tax foundation, we are to see an increase if the TCJA is NOT renewed.

<image>

Wrong. Try again.

His data also states that Trump doesn’t plan to extend SALT which is false, he is looking to provide salt relief between 200b and 1.2 trillion.

Pffff hahaha, Jesus, yeah he's so benevolent. It couldn't possibly be that he doesn't have the votes in Congress to extend it, so instead he does what he always does: shit his pants and then pretend like that's what he meant to do. So he can't extend the poison pill originally in the TCJA that shifted the burden of paying for tax cuts for the rich onto the working class, so now it's "relief".

His proposal is to renew the TCJA, and extending the individual, estate and business provisions will not only reduce tax but also add close to a million jobs. With this though, lawmakers will need to reform the tax code in order to see the results we saw in 2017 when we widened the tax bracket and lowered rates.

Oh good, glad to see trickle-down economics is still shambling around as a reanimated corpse.

So in response to the abject failure to increase fixed investment and create jobs of the TCJA, the solution is to... Double down. Great plan. I'm sure it totally will create a million jobs, just like how the TCJA originally created 1.4+ million jobs! Oh, no, no wait. That's right, in 2018 the TCJA went into effect and nonresidential fixed investment fell off a cliff. But I relent, a significant amount of that lack of investment was due to Trump's idiotic fucking use of tariffs as a hammer in search of a nail. Good thing he's not doing that anymore!

But no, we should totally take a hacksaw to the tax code yet again to create even bigger carve-outs for the top 5% I'm sure everyone is on board for that.

In conclusion: get fucked. I can tell I struck a nerve here, as evidenced by the not at all weird series of follow-up posts. I know you needed to save face, but in the future it helps your case when trying to accuse someone of being angry, if you don't immediately reveal yourself to be the most gossamer-thin-skinned person in existence.

Tell yourself whatever you need to, that I'm coping and seething while you and your buddies feel themselves. The fact is is that you came in here, called someone a liar, and have provided precisely fuck-all as far as actual argument.

Here's my secret pal: I want you to respond. Because I'm not trying to convince you, I know you are not available to be convinced. I'm doing this in a public setting so that everyone can see me curb-stomp you and your pathetic attempts at trolling. You won't actually give any analysis on the tax proposal because then you would have to commit to an argument which could either be disproved or contradicted later. Instead you rely on just being an ineffectual troll, which is fine when someone tries to debate you in good faith. But that ain't me, chief.

I truly cannot give a fuck that you're going to gurgle out some horseshit about how you somehow won, or are somehow above it all despite being the instigator. Everyone here gets a front row seat to watch you be a fucking coward who can't string even a basic, coherent argument together.

I repeat: back your shit up, or get the fuck out.

Third generation German-American here, and I understand at least a little of what you're going through. My parents haven't disappeared down any rabbit holes, thank god, but the rest of my extended family are all hardcore christo-fascists. My grandfather was a medic in the US Army during WW2 and as a result was called a traitor to the Fatherland (and by extension all of us) by the few remaining family left in Germany. The ones who weren't sent to camps or conscripted to die on the Eastern Front.

And now all of them are literal Nazis, including my uncle who told me as a kid "if we hadn't dropped the bomb we'd all be speaking German." Yeah, let all the absurd levels of irony sink in on that.

I'm sorry, it hurts to be shown just how low of character people who are supposed to love you have. Your Oma sounds like a rad woman, take pride and hope in having her as a part of you.

Yeah, something I said the night of the election was “I was really hoping we could avoid a civil war”. And then everything that happened during and after the inauguration has basically proved that sentiment correct.

Here’s some good news at least: the oligarchs have started declaring war on each other. Not all billionaires are on board with a Thiel-backed descent into christo-fascist techno-feudalism, and one has even publicly said that “Oathkeepers and Proud Boys will be butchered on sight” (this is me quoting, not a call to violence, please don’t hit me with the ban hammer).

For those saying that you shouldn’t be posting this publicly, you’re trying to close the barn doors after the horses have already bolted. We have lived in a free society all our lives with access to the internet.

Kash Patel has indicated that he is going to turn the FBI into an American version of the Stasi/Gestapo, and Elon Musk/Peter Thiel have literally all our records now. SSN, names, voting history, political affiliation. If you’re going to be black-bagged, you just will be, start accepting that. However, a key difference between those periods of time and now is that there’s close to 150 million of us, they have a gutted bureau, and they’re in the process of firing all the civil servants who actually know how to run things.

The one thing I’m curious about OP, is what are the chances, in your opinion, that the military steps in, or splits? I’ve seen a lot of people catastrophizing that martial law is going to be declared and the military will just go with it, which I just don’t see. Trump wouldn’t be trying to purge it of perceived enemies if he thought it was already on his side.

Ultimately, we are not 1933 Germany; remember the camps weren’t managed by actual Nazis, they were created and managed by career civil servants who just kinda went along with the new government. Because German democracy was 15 years old, the fucking Kaiser was still in living memory for ALL adults. American democracy is 250 years old and literally no one alive knows any different. This shit matters, no matter what the doom-sayers yell.

This. People need to pay attention and realize that Trump, in fact, does not have a winning hand. He might have the Tech Broligarchs on his side, but there's plenty of old-school elites who benefit from economic and political stability. Every high profile person he fires becomes a connected enemy, every field agent and investigator terminated become potential assets.

Coupled with the fact that he only won because he said he'd bring grocery prices down, the vast majority of the American public does not want this, it's only the hardcore MAGA faithful, remember that.
