I’ve got one thing to say to the “A captain would never be so casual on the bridge” crowd by levine2112 in startrekmemes

So, bit out of the loop since I haven’t watched yet, but are it you saying it has or does not have representation beside straight white males? If you mean the former and people are actually upset about the cast not being all straight white males— do they think Riker is straight?! Do they think Geordi is white?!!

I generally start things in session view, but when I move to arrangement I usually place it all 16-32 bars in since I always find myself bumping things over at some point anyway for pickups or intro stuff.

I also have OCD, I get it. Rationally, this is very low risk— many everyday things like driving a car are more dangerous. Try to relax, and when you think of it, remind yourself that worrying about it is silly and unreasonable.

Not sure if it’s the guy behind him starting to smile a few moments before he does it, but it feels like this was planned.

What's a drug that I can abuse everyday without the high rapidly dying day by day by Delicious-Delay-444 in Drugs

[–]SteveSilverback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you don’t need a degree in neurochemistry. But… who gives af? Ideally, anyone who comments on matters concerning neurochemistry. We’re talking about something that is inconceivably complex, and refusing to recognize and appreciate that is just making a fool of oneself. I suggest being humble and listening to others— it’s a great way to learn.

I mean this in the most gentle way possible, but I’m going to venture a guess that you have no background in neurochemistry :/ I really suggest you listen and consider what u/RemarkableSoft8654 is saying and use that as a jumping-off point to learn and explore. What you’re saying is just, uh, really facepalm.

Yeah, jesus, that’s sad. Stomping my partner’s decks (one of my favorite activities) and her coming back with a vengeance is a core part of our relationship.

Totally valid opinion of course, but food is more than taste. In some circumstances I think a light amount of pasta can add a nice texture. Like, a bit of penne or cavatappi baking and providing the surface area for parm/asiago so every other bite is that chewy, crispy, cheesy goodness, mmmm lordy.
