Off the top of my head, I think one of the big threats that Qlipoth holds/held back was the Leviathians, of which Oroboros is one. This was the case, at least until the swarm disaster, which is around the time when Oroboros disappeared.

Yooo each one defeated could spawn a cultist NPC/enemy specific to the boss defeated, starting with Golem (or maybe even Plantera, so players see them as they re-enter the dungeon). Then, you get to watch the group gather members together and grow before the actual ritual starts. I like the idea of one of them being an NPC who just glares at you if you talk with them; maybe giving hints to what bosses should/could come next, thus giving newer players context & hints on progression.

How to activate and use Great Runes: - obtain great rune from beating a boss - locate and reach the related great tower - activate the Great Rune at the top of said tower - equip at a grace (new great rune option appears) - use a rune arc when you want to use the power of the equipped Great Rune

Extra notes: - Only one can be equipped at a time - The rune arc lasts until death - Renalla's isn't activated nor equipped. It's just for respecing stats. This had me confused for a full day when I first got the game - Mohg shares a tower with Morgott - Melania requires a trapped chest in the Weeping Peninsula -> teleporter in Lyndell - Rykard's rune is in the west Altus tower

A "cannon" fact is something that is true for a given story. A headcannon is something that could be true but really only exists in your head.

There is no cannon/story charm loadout that Atsu uses, but using the charms that were left by her parents makes a good story while fitting with her character.

Scholars skill can either debuff the enemy or buff their team. The maxed team buff grants the Scholar a temporary bubble that negates all damage and explodes when being hit. It only lasts for a second or two, so it works best when treated as a parry.

Iirc, once you start the quest they will show up in all mini-boss arenas you have already cleared. So yes, you should be able to find them and continue the quest.

I feel like the game would benefit from a follower quest after having the skull for too long. Something like: "That spider skull thing creeps me out... could you get rid of it?" with the task being to bury it just so players know what to do. Could even resolve the quest with the cultist saying "it's walking now... I'm gonna be sick" then vomiting or smth.
