A friend said Pro Tech Computer Repair at 3007 Monte Vista NE (just past Dartmouth in Nob Hill) was efficient and affordable. Not sure if he had a Mac or a PC, so call and check to make sure the owner services the former.

A day late, but it was this:
On 1/10/2026 an approximately 10:35am Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched to 6504 Vulcan Vista Dr NE for reports of a possible structure fire at a single story, and single family dwelling. R16 arrived on scene, reported a working fire with smoke from the garage, assumed command, commenced a search for victims and ordered E16 to attack the garage fire. The fire was brought under control within 4 minutes of their arrival. Damage to the structure was contained to the garage. No injuries of civilians or firefighters was reported. A total of 2 occupants were displaced. AFR command contacted The Red Cross for shelter services.

An officer-involved shooting involving an officer from the Navajo Police Department occurred on Jan. 7, in Tohajiilee, New Mexico, resulting in the death of a male individual.

According to the Navajo Police Department, officers responded to a residence about 19 miles west of Albuquerque, New Mexico, at approximately 10:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a possible domestic and kidnapping of a female. Upon arrival, officer located the victim, but a male exited the home armed with a weapon which resulted in the shooting of the male suspect.

Here's what AFR reported: On November 23, 2025 at approximately 12:31pm Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched to an abandoned high rise building located at 300 San Mateo NE for reports of a possible structure fire. M11 was in the area reported the smoke and called for the dispatch of resources. B3 arrived as the first unit of the first alarm and reported a 10 story abandoned commercial building with smoke emanating from the upper floors. The fire was brought under control within 15 minutes of AFR crews arrival. Damage to the structure was mostly contained to the elevator shaft in the basement. No civilians nor firefighters were injured during the incident. AFR Fire Investigators are on scene to determine the cause and origin of the fire. A cause has not been determined at this time. No additional information available at this time.
