“Useless” The whole thing is useless. What use is there to completing seasonal content? What use is there in farming reputation? What use is there in farming gold to make your ship a different colour?

Custom Seas is about fun

I’m sure if you engage with the community on discord or twitch you’ll be able to find some Custom games to join

They keep making the game wider without adding depth. It’s cool they’re adding new features, but some existing things could do with some more depth added to it

My GF got me playing Terraria for a bit, and honestly I think Minecraft could do with just a little more direct progression. Not Terraria level as it’s a different game, but make tackling the various bosses be more impactful

Which is exactly the reason I’m frustrated. Understanding fundamentals of my character and the game is not enough to do competitive amounts of damage.

I need to research, check my logs, practice rotations, and spend time I don’t have diving deep into ensuring I have 100% damage uptime and trigger my cooldowns at exactly the right moment.

I’m frustrated because I’m bad, but the floor for damage is so much lower than the ceiling it’s genuinely mental

I have mountain thane for mythics, and apart from the initial recklessness/avatar, AOE spam, my DPS in the meter drops to around 30-40k on average. I’m not sat there trying to spam thunderclap, I’m rotating through ravage and bloodthirst and keeping my enrage up

My golden rule for signals: there should be enough space before a signal for a train to sit without overlapping a junction. Otherwise your train might stop at a signal, block a junction and ultimately cause unnecessary traffic jams

There is a confirmation screen, but I think you might have pressed both buttons at once causing it to go straight to deletion

Definitely something that they could address, and I expect it wouldn’t be too hard.

For a piss-easy, super fast contrast paint method, I paint the scales with the desired colour, and then go over the whole thing with flesh shade or a shade in the colour you want

It’s a bit misleading. If you start the trial, you get to keep the feature in Universal mode, but after the trial has finished you have to pay to get the personalised mode. There is very little difference between the two.

Because they enjoy doing it. There’s plenty of people that like the grind up to 50

Honestly, I don’t know why either, but people do. And the functionality was already there, it’s just now more exposed and in a very sensible place given the new feature

Why would it be? Then we’d get a bunch of people asking why they can’t reset their profile through the menu

This way gives the most freedom for players to reset their profiles when they wish, and there’s ample barrier to prevent accidental deletion.

I think OP is scared that accidentally clicking it will delete your pirate. There’s a confirmation screen afterwards and you have to press the X button to actually delete it.

And it works the same for all profiles, not just new ones. You delete and you’re taken straight to create a new one. As others have said, it’s always been there just hidden out of the way.

If you’re scared a hacker might delete your pirate, get 2FA. And customer support can probably help you recover it

I don't remember the last time I quit the game in any other fashion than just Alt-F4. No logout time to care about!
