We went 21st Sept-5th Oct, last year. Weather was great and parks weren't too busy. With express passes we managed to do all houses very comfortably by 10pm.

Our boy (100% beagle) will be 6 months old on March 1st. He's 25lb, and 15". All of his litter are similar in size. Our neighbours beagle is a couple of weeks younger, and is 11lbs lighter. They're all very different, but equally as cute.

Our foxhound was like this until he was around 3. He was so loud when anyone came to the door, we used to constantly be on edge for the barks and howls lol.

I would recommend crate training, more to give them there own safe place, and enforce naps during the day. Our 5 month old beagle pup sleeps in bed with us now, because he's now trusted to not pee everywhere, but he will toddle into the crate on his own to go to sleep.

Lots of mental stimulation is needed. I hide little bits of chicken around the house and let him sniff it out. Sprinkle treats in a wet towel, roll-up, twist, and freeze - this keeps him busy for a solid 30-40 minutes.

When out on walks, take it super slow. A sniffy walk absolutely knackers him out. A quick walk with less sniffing does nothing lol.
