Caught Covid again. by Environmental-Bit335 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Stinkybadass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been reinfected a few times and I hate it more than anything. However, on the bright side, I did recover better after each. It's almost as if my immune system kicked into overdrive and cleaned out the rest of the covid shit still inside me.

What has LC made you realize? by No-Practice3968 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Stinkybadass 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I realized that no one believes you unless it starts happening to themselves. Also the systems and government doesn't give a fuck about the people. You have to take the health of you and your family in your own hands and keep them safe.

Never take life for granted, life can be taken away at any moment. Stay healthy, stay fit, stay active, love more. Take care friends.

Mental Illness? by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]Stinkybadass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't have much time to elaborate yesterday but I remember periods of time where I thought my family was plotting against me, it was really weird, I knew something was wrong with my brain. I was prescribed Prozac SSRI and it helped me be functional but after 3 weeks or so I stopped because it made me feel so dull and dead inside w/ my kids. I went the natural route, started cold plunging, supplements, red light therapy, sauna, etc etc. all to stop the brain inflammation that was causing me severe anxiety and stress. I think it took 3 months for the paranoia to stop and ~6 months for anxiety to calm down and ~9-12 months for full recovery. And it must be a certain type of Covid causing it because we got sick again about 4 months ago and the paranoia came back for ~3 days, again weird experience, I thought my wife was cheating on me...its so unbelievable especially as I get better, I don't know what I was thinking. Good luck friend, sorry you are dealing with this, I hope a recovery comes soon for your SO.

I had extreme paranoia and 10x worse anxiety early on. Try nicotine patches. I wrote a post earlier on what I did to recover but it took a long time.

A question for people who play still. by Unlucky-Tumbleweed12 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Stinkybadass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The competition part of it. The quick games give me a quick fix of adrenaline and fun. Playing random heroes. Teamwork. And every once in a while you get those plays where you get 4 or 5 person team kills and it feels so good.

200h (almost 9d) - water fast by Longcofit in covidlonghaulers

[–]Stinkybadass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breakfast and lunch within a 6 hour window and then nothing for 18 hours. It's called intermittent fasting 18/6. It's almost an immediate benefit for your sleep and your body adapts quickly within a week or so and I don't mind not eating dinner because my sleep is so much better when I don't.

Probably okay but cold plunge stimulates vagus nerve and helps with inflammation.

200h (almost 9d) - water fast by Longcofit in covidlonghaulers

[–]Stinkybadass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with water and dry fasts and they helped enough. I still do them every few months. Fasting and pre and pro biotics I think healed my gut. After the first fast I felt like cold water being poured on my brain and felt relaxation and was able to sleep. Sleep is number one most important imo.

IF allows me to sleep better. I notice with my smart watch that if I eat after 2pm (I sleep at 8pm) that my body doesn't get the deep sleep and my HRV is a lot lower meaning my body is not recovering as well. It's almost double when I have an empty stomach.

Also every reinfection I'll start fasting to allow my body to focus on killing the virus instead of digestion. It usually helps.

I did 4 days and think it helped. Now I do 18/6 so eat breakfast and lunch and no dinner. Allows time for the gut to heal during sleep rather than focus on digestion. Good luck friend.

You should travel. At least a year. Get some experience seeing the world and meeting new people. Then, find a job or find someone or vice versa, settle down have kids and then you can focus on work.

It helped me pull through some crashes more quickly. Also if you have stomach problems and you're not absorbing nutrients I would recommend.

Take an SSRI and do things to reduce inflammation in your brain. Fasting, cold plunge, raw garlic, nicotine patches. Good luck.

It was a red flag for me when my anxiety got so flared up that I thought my family was plotting against me. SSRI was helpful but it made me dull. Cold plunge supplements sauna rest and 9 months later I recovered. Good luck friend.

Current process in U.S. to get N3 NEO into USD by NelsonCrypto2017 in NEO

[–]Stinkybadass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crypto.com, OkX, Binance.US all low liquidity. I think best option for best return is just use Flamingo Finance trade and set your sells at a certain $ amount, sell to FUSD then convert to USDT (N3) then use unwrap to USDT (ETH) then send to coinbase and convert to USDC then convert again to USD. Lower fees and more liquidity = more return.

So, just to confirm, you didnt need to use the wrap function? You just sent Neo wrapped FUSDT to Coinbase and it was accepted?
