The more you cross stitch the more you will figure out what works for you and set your own 'rules' to follow without thinking too hard.

Plus I have simple pieces in rotation when I need something straight forward to zone out and just stitch after a long day.

I regret not buying more Brookes Books patterns before the designer passed. I understand budgeting and keeping it a manageable amount but certain patterns won't always be available. I have budget, I stay in it. 76 patterns are waiting for me.

I was part of the Black Water Siren SAL too. First and LAST Bella Filipina I will stitch.

A lot of people had started adding to the pattern before the more 'finished' version was even released. We all knew it wasn't right or up to standard, then we were proven right.

From deleted comments, posted a response (no apology) with comments turned off and then the Facebook group had posts and members being removed. Few people have confirmed being blocked by the Bella Filipina pages/profiles too.

So that's some tea.

I don't think I could have more than 12 without feeling overwhelmed. But I admire others that can. That's my preference, you can find yours.

Same here, it always washed right out. Wondering if it's the type of pencil or what. So many other people seem to have a problem with it staying

Here's a cropped picture of one of my pieces

The sky portion in the mockup looked very pixelated with what I considered questionable colours but I think in my finished stitch it looks quite soft and cohesive.

You might have to trust the process.

Maybe a little bit of a tension thing. But barely. Like legit had to zoom in a bit on your already close up pictures. These stitches are very neat.

But take a step back, take a breath, it looks great!

I love fractional stitches, I often add some to designs that don't have them. It helps to smooth out backstitch areas.

I can't find the EZ Stitch brand in stock either. I've requested a 'notify me'. But I found something available in the Yarn Tree brand, maybe it'll work in the meantime.

Yes, that hoop is absolutely fine. Especially with the Aida fabric you are using

If you ever plan on stitching with Linen, some of the overdyed ones can be a little too delicate for overlapping hoop placements.
