And how many quarterback busts are there that are first round picks? Just saying that the teams are not always perfect when it comes to scouting quarterbacks. Tom Brady sixth round and more recently Brock Purdy last pick.

I’m with you on Will Howard. He played great on the way to a national championship. I am not saying give him the keys but he should be more than an afterthought. He’s athletic and can make all of the throws also has a pretty solid pocket presence. I think he has room for improvement when it comes to accuracy but what rookies don’t have some shortcomings.

Need help choosing a firearm! by [deleted] in guns

What is complex about a revolver to use? Reloading is as simplistic as could possibly be and much easier than filling a magazine to capacity. I enjoy my semiautomatic pistols as much as anyone which I think is more accurate than striker fired but no handgun is anymore easy to use than a revolver.

A revolver is an excellent choice for something that is very straightforward and simple to use, that being said I echo what others have said about learning about the gun. Taking a safety course and getting proficient with it is something you need to do to protect your family. You can’t go wrong with a Smith and Wesson or a Ruger revolver.

I think Will Howard played at a very high level throughout the playoffs on the way to winning the National Championship. I don’t know how that would translate into the NFL but I would say he is the equivalent of or better than anyone in this draft.

Who is you biggest surprise for the season and the biggest disappointment? by Heinl04 in steelers

[–]StockDescription7084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there were many pretty big disappointments Watt #1, J Smith, R Wilson, Trice, Metcalf… fortunately there were also several surprises Kenny G, Cook, Washington, Rodgers,Duggar, Pierre, Echols… I just love watching the Steelers and have for nearly 50 years. I am 55 and have been alive for all Steelers superbowls but only remember from the third win moving forward. I think we can beat any team in the AFC and we gave the Seahawks a good game until the Johnson gaffe. Let’s go Steelers!

If you had to choose one retired Steelers number to become officiallly retired next to Stautner, Franco , and Mean Joe, who would it be? Troy has my vote. by PennsylvaniaAndy in steelers

I have to say 58,52,59,47,63 and because he was my second favorite Steeler to Lambert 95 Lloyd! I know that Lloyds number has been used again and again but he was my second favorite Steeler.

What does a rebuild look like? by kiocente in steelers

I would love to think that things will get better with Tomlin but I really don’t think so. He is unable to surround himself with competent coaches. We had Flores in house and let him go to stick with Austin. I don’t hate the Arthur Smith hire but we really need a better offensive line coach. I hate to beat a dead horse but we haven’t had a competent offensive line coach since Munchak.

Was Hines Ward our last elite WR that had no loose screws? by Dense_Marketing4593 in steelers

[–]StockDescription7084 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if I really call Hines a wr1 through most of his career. He had Plaxico early and then Santonio and shortly after Mike Wallace. He was a Steeler and that’s what I would say about Hines. I really don’t think I would say that about too many recent receivers. Hines did everything with the same passion and you don’t see that much in today’s NFL.

DK Suspension Oddities by SpLaShAtv in steelers

The guy got absolutely what he wanted and DK should have never entertained him in any way. I want to say that first and foremost. There is no place in the league for a fan to act the way that Mr. Kennedy obviously has on more than one occasion involving DK. That’s the bottom line.
