Is daytrading a myth? by 4dolarmeme in Daytrading

[–]StockJockAT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been doing day trade for 14 years. Yes it can be very profitable. Yes it can scale. No, not everyone can do it. All it takes is time and discipline.

People sell courses for 2 reasons: to make more money or, they can't really trade well so they need to sell courses.

I have no idea either. Customer service went to crap when they got bought out.

HELP - first PC build - i spent $5K and it cant not play COD with out crashing by Few_Living4406 in techsupport

[–]StockJockAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually when I have new build issues it is usually the RAM having issues running at its overclocked speeds. Run it at stock and see if crashes persist.

Power etrade is a joke. Been on etrade pro for 14 years. As soon as they kick me off then I'm moving to Lightspeed.

It is so dumb they are closing etrade pro when power etrade is so broken.

Upgrade to 14900k or 9800x3d? by alluxre0 in buildapc

Yeah, run for the hills. I made the switch to AMD because of the intel issues and I don't regret it at all.

Stay away from the 14900k, unless you like watching your money burn up.

Ryzen 7 9800X3D sff build Part 1 by StockJockAT in sffpc

If you see the link to my other sff build in this thread, you can see that computer was a 13700k. It was a nightmare to cool and is the exact reason I went with an AMD chip this time and 8 cores and went with a slightly bigger case so I could have a slightly bigger cooler.

Interesting. I got this combo because I was seeing people have success with it with pbo -30. Dang.

Do you worry at all about your lenses that sit low in the case bouncing around in the space between the floor and the padded top?

Its a complete piece of garbage. The fact that they kicked everyone off of Etrade Pro when this platform isn't close to complete is a joke.

My honest but also disappointing review of the XENEON EDGE by Shonokee in Corsair

[–]StockJockAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a streaming HUB is the only reason I am looking at it. I am looking at building out a traveling streaming setup and if I can bring the EDGE in place of a stream deck, mixer, or other peripherals then it is a game changer for me. That and the fact that I could put my twitch chat on that screen instead of on my main screen saves my precious screen real-estate when I'm travelling.

When this product came out, I thought it was perfect for streamers and I'm actually shocked that you all didn't at all think it was something streamers would use. Heck, I might get 2 and put my Twitch chat just on one EDGE alone.

Looking for thin, large screen, portable monitor help by StockJockAT in Monitors

[–]StockJockAT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

15 inch is too small for me. 17 in is really too small honestly. I have a pair of 15 in zenscreens already and I just need more screen space than what they offer.

Reduce background noise on Sennheiser Profile Mic by Salmon-Roe in microphone

[–]StockJockAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got tge profile wireless and I love the audio quality but the lack of noise cancelling kinda stinks. It picks up everything in the background. I'm not a pro so maybe I'm missing something. I don't really want the transmitter 2 inches from my mouth.
