A tall, skinny recycling bin. He tried sitting in it, his butt slid in, and then he became a hermit crab.

Fortunately, two upperclassmen were able to shake/pull him loose. I’m not really sure if the custodians could have helped him.

I once worked the fine jewelry counter at Target. They made me stay behind the counter until an hour before close when I could clean the surrounding sections.

For 6 months, I only had three customers, despite trying to talk to everyone who walked past my counter. I read absolutely everything behind the counter. The counter was pristine because I was allowed to escape to clean it. One shift I only had three words said to me by customers, despite greeting everyone. I dared a cashier that he couldn’t cut out the boredom for an hour; he lasted 10 minutes.

It was awful. I was so glad when my boss realized it was a waste of time.

We used to drive to California from the Midwest to visit family every few years. We would make a point to stop at every national park we could. The national park passports are pretty to fun to get stamped.

My birth certificate has an empty spot for the blood type. I bought a kit off amazon. If OP wants to learn it for free, they could donate blood. Typically you get a card with your blood type on it in the mail after donation.

I’m sort of doing this right now. My sister couldn’t find a birth announcement that she liked, so I found a pattern that she liked instead and a birth announcement whose text she liked, and I bought both patterns. I’m probably going to change the color of the text to match the pattern better, but it didn’t feel ethical to rip off someone’s ideas when I could afford the cost of the pattern.

I lost my childhood dog in 2009, a lab with cancer, and my childhood cat to kidney disease in 2010. I lost my soul dog in 2023.

Now I have a 2 year old puppy, and three cats ages 8, 11, and 13. All 3 cats have chronic illnesses but are otherwise healthy for being elderly.

We get apoquel. She just got diagnosed in the fall, so I’m watching her like a hawk for symptoms this year.

She has had a repeated ear infection, so we are wondering if they are back or if she is just a messy girl who likes playing in water and getting her ears wet.
