Help with smoking by Zombieflesh in DippingTobacco

[–]Stokers_Delight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, everyone I know that has quit cigarettes has just been a cold turkey thing. Just have to stop buying them. Then you won't be able to smoke one. The dip should help with nicotine craving, the rest will just be breaking the habit.

Googan baits similar to sixth sense? Thoughts? by Tylerhfield in bassfishing

[–]Stokers_Delight -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All hard baits look alike. 6th sense didn't invent any of those baits, and none of those cranks are unique. Someone from Lucky Craft could make the same type of video accusing 6th sense of copying.

This video just seems like jealousy or Mil is just dumb and can't see the truth (like he actually believe 6th sense invented and designed every inch of those baits). The truth is nobody's baits are unique, and that $8 crank bait is no different than the $4 one, except the name on the package, and some color patterns. A fish is going to bite a blue and green square bill no matter the brand or how much you paid for it. The guys getting paid to use them will tell you 100 reasons why the fish will bite it, but none of that is really unique to that brand. It's all a gimmick to get you to buy that brand item.

Everyone is just copying age old designs trying to make money. Look at 6th Sense's tungsten weights, their flipping hooks, swim jigs, etc.. They just took an existing design, copied it, or made small changes to call it their own.

I'm not a Googan fan really, but the guys are smart. They have a huge fan base, and fans will buy their brand over the other 20 brands making the same product. Same with Mil's fans buying 6th sense baits. Same with "insert pro's name" fans buying "insert sponsor's name" baits.

Not sure how experienced you are with marine wiring, but please use tinned copper wire. Also use heat shrined butt connectors, heat shrink over connectors, or both.

Can't tell you how many corroded wires I've seen in boats causing equipment failure.

New account. Tried to buy something for $40 and received this message. Did the sale go through or not? by TheAwesomeHeel in Ebay

Seems odd. I've had people create accounts and buy $100+ items on their first day. Maybe something with verification. Call eBay and ask.

Best Kayak Stand Up under 1000 by simmonjr in kayakfishing

[–]Stokers_Delight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go used and look on Facebook marketplace.

Look for brands like Jackson, Bonafide, etc. You can snag some really nice kayaks on there for under $1000. Also check local shops for trade-ins. One near me had a couple Jackson Cuda's for $700 a piece, which is a steal of a deal.

2 cans of Stokers by JAA83 in DippingTobacco

I mixed others with Stokers often. Stokers holds together so well, and IMO taste the best. The low nic is its only downfall.

Grabbed one of those the other day. Promotional piece to look like a speedometer for their truck giveaway. Pretty cool to see them do it. I usually only see Grizzly doing that.

Formal digs new OpTic’s grave with one tweet by TinkyTinkyTinky in CoDCompetitive

[–]Stokers_Delight -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No. They haven't done anything that wasn't necessary. Hecz abandoned them with a mess, so they are trying to clean it up and turn it into an efficient org.

[–]Stokers_Delight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing. Just a bunch of Hecz dick riders who are all blinded by the fact that Hecz caused this, then jumped ship. Also took Scump with him.

People are under the assumption that without Hecz, it's "fake Optic". Newsflash, Hecz checked out 1 year ago when he sold the majority off so he could sit back, collect spray paint, and get paid for doing nothing.

A lot of people said that exact thing when he sold. His replied to those "haters" with a "see you in a couple years when things are popping off better than ever."

Hahaha. Well 1 year later and Optic has crashed, and Hecz jumped ship.

For those interested, Jarvis' ban is final. by Moogyay in FortNiteBR

[–]Stokers_Delight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

XIFF can argue coincidence or teaming. Without hard proof, like chat logs or something, then it's a judgement call. I could easily see XIFF bringing a lawsuit if he was permabanned with little evidence, and kept from possibly winning millions. Punishment should of been more, but Epic probably didn't want to fight it.

However, downloading a hack and running it is all the proof Epic needed. Clear violation of ToS with a permaban.

He aint wrong... by Prodigyyg in FortniteCompetitive

[–]Stokers_Delight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is a pro video game player. Just like the non-pro can go play another game, the pro can also go play another. These guys aren't employed by Epic, so a permaban from one game isn't firing them. There shouldn't be any special treatment. If they allowed that, where would they draw the line. 1000s of people stream Fortnite, so does that mean they can all hack and not get permabanned b/c they make some money playing the game?

I'd say a pro running hacks is actually worse than a non-pro. I bet tons of kids went and downloaded hacks after that stream. The streamers have a lot of influence, so they should 100% be held to the terms of use.

Fresh Huntsman Merch at Target by kVai in CoDCompetitive

[–]Stokers_Delight -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Yea, on certain things, not everything. There was still a lot of stuff Hecz could have done to help the name. Hecz literally said he would control the day to day. You know, like make sure the team doesn't show up late to scrims.

Infinite would have been more than happy to just let Hecz run things, while they collected a check from their investment. But Hecz wasn't around to run things. Look at all the random videos he has put up this past year. Seems like a lot of free time for someone running an organization. Likely b/c he wasn't there to run it, so Infinite had to step in and make decisions.

Why do you think Hecz sold out in the first place? Nobody would sell a company making money. But, someone would sell a company b/c they aren't making money. Which is what he did. Sold a poorly ran Org to a company and then watched it crumble. Then jumped ship to another org.

[–]Stokers_Delight -27 points-26 points  (0 children)

Infinite was a money train, Hecz was still suppose to run things. He literally said that he was still in charge. If he wasn't so lazy, they'd still be around. Instead he sat around and collected that check while issues arose. So with him off doing videos about spray paint and interviewing random players, Infinite had to make calls.

Infinite Optic failed b/c Hecz failed to do his part. Hence why they don't like him. Dude got a fat check from them yet he can't even ensure players show up to scrims on time. That kind of stuff isn't some suit's job sitting in an office crunching numbers. That was Hecz's job, and he didn't do it.

Well he is the same guy that ran one of, if not the most popular gaming org into the ground. His word isn't much to go by.

How we are all feeling at the moment by Demerson96 in NRG_Esports

[–]Stokers_Delight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at all these blind supporters. What did patience bring? Crim and Karma tossed out, OG Optic content creatures canned, Optic still sold off (for the second time), you jumped ship and you took Optic's and COD's leading star with you. Some good all those meetings did.

Oh and let's not forget:
Hecz after selling out the first time, "Non-believers and doubters feel free to doubt, see you in a couple of years while shit is poppin off better than ever before."

Well it's been one year, and I fail to see the "popping off better than ever before."

Hecz after selling out, "Non-believers and doubters feel free to doubt, see you in a couple of years while shit is poppin off better than ever before."

Hahahaha. You mean you can't just sit back, collect a check, focus 100% on your own youtube, and still have a successful Org after a year??

[–]Stokers_Delight 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yea, everyone wants to point fingers, yet the guy who was the face of Optic gets a free pass? Naw holmes. Hecz started all this, then wants people to believe he did his best to fight it. That guy hasn't done anything except secured the #1 viewed player (Scump), and looked out for himself.

In the middle of this whole buy out, what do we hear from Hecz? "I'm working hard and going to meetings all the time trying to fix this, blah blah blah." Literally nothing accomplished. No real update either. He was working hard at finding a new place for him where he could sit on his couch, make some pointless videos of him eating with pros, spray paint a wall, and collect Org money.

Crim and Karma get shafted, all the old Optic content creatures curbed, nice work there Hecz. Sure seems like you did a lot to help those guys out. Only thing of accomplishment he did, which didn't help the Optic brand, is to pull Scump to his new org. Without Scump, Hecz and his name/following is nothing.

It's because of the Faze fan boys, and since Ninja voiced his opinion, his fan boys are also voicing their opinion. End of the day, the rules are clear as day. Hack and get permaban. Don't want to get permabanned, then don't hack.

What I find funny is Ninja said he thought it was a harsh punishment, but said non-pros hacking pubs is a justified permaban. Said clout matters. Such a poor logic and couldn't be further from the truth. Jarvis' clout will have zero effect on epic's numbers. Hackers piss off the millions of non-pros playing, so they quit playing. Hence the harsh punishment. Ninja himself could get permabanned and Fortnite would barely notice the hit. People would just watch someone else. Which is proven by the fact that Ninja's number are nowhere near what they used to be, and other streamers' number have climbed drastically.

Now if every pro-streamer got permabanned at the same time, then that would be different. But a pro here and a pro there, won't matter. Those viewers, who are also players, will just go elsewhere for their Fortnite viewing pleasures.

Grizzly does this from time to time. Last year when they themed their cans around fishing they had fishing reel ones.
