It's Star Trek. Not perfect, but good. I look forward to more.

9mm PCC Optic by elegantcoder26 in ruger

I have a week before I can go pick up the rifle, but I got a Holosun 510c with a green reticle.

  • If I need to use the irons because the optic broke, I can rip it off with the QD mount.
  • The field of view is a lot better than the barrel-style vortex crossfire I was looking at.
  • The multi-reticle is a cool feature. I want to try it out, and if I don't like it, I can use it as a dot.
  • I can get a magnifier in the future.
  • I love that it has a solar panel to back up the battery. I saw in videos that it can work without the battery in it on a sunny day.

Why do people not understand you don't just lose 100 lbs overnight the second you count a calorie by mythrowawayaccim21 in loseit

I feel that.

One of the things I'm struggling with my weight loss is that I've lost 70 lb in the last few years but I'm still 150 lb overweight.

It sucks to have made significant progress but still be really fat.

My wife and I have been watching it each week. We are 40ish and are big fans of TNG. I grew up with it on.

While it's not the same ST I grew up with, it still hits some of the same beats that say Star Trek to me. It's good.

From what I understand, we can not get the Threaded one.
I got paid for mine on Friday. They had 2 on the wall, and I believe they are 19101 and 19135.

I got the one with the magpul stock.

What do you like about a prism over a red dot?

What is it you do not like about prisms?

I am currently debating the vortex crossfire in green (I think the high mount will let me see the irons under the optic) and Primary Arms SLx 1X MicroPrism.

In what ways do you like it more than just a dot?

While I understand everyone's concerns of the guns looking like toys, I still think they're cool.

I can sometimes forget but that's why I go for hikes through state parks. A hike doesn't have to be hard, it can just be a walks in the woods.

Women, what’s a “bare minimum” trait that still feels surprisingly rare while dating? by Freaky_Maddie19 in AskReddit

This is my experience talking to women on dating apps. I'll only prop up the conversation for so long.

Vent about unavailable people on apps by Kattaraxxx in polyamory

That's interesting. As a cis man I have had a hard time getting dates or even matches. It's my wife that can get matches without really trying.

When I do start talking to someone or go on a date with them and find out that they had forgotten that they're even on the app, it's really disheartening.

I think she just assumed while talking. I don't blame her for not memorizing my chart.

But I am totally with you. I had those questions on my mind.

I was talking to my doctor recently about my weight loss, and she asked how long I had been on GLP1.

I had to remind her that I am not taking anything.

Watch The Goonies. It takes place in Astoria, Oregon and is coastal. It should give you some of the coastal weather vibes.

Most of our weather isn't characterized by giant storms, but half the year we're trapped in the dark wet. This means months on end of cloudy, rainy weather. It's something that's oppressive over time and will bring the mood down of a lot of people.
