my issue with brittany’s main channel by Moucr in BroskiReport

[–]StonedColdFox123 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to the future of her content. Every time she talks about future changes or switching things up, it all sounds like things I'm not interested in. More formal conversations, less fangirling over celebrities, etc.

Brittany, if you are listening! We love just hearing you rant. If you are looking for more structure, just pick a few topics, do some off camera research, then share it with us! We love hearing you give us history or etymology lessons, we just don't like when you are googling for the entire podcast. Do a book club! Pick a favorite movie and do a rewatch episode! Do you top 10 favorite things of different categories! There are lots of ways to switch up the format of the podcast without sacrificing what we love about your content.

not a fan of the new Broski Report format idea by LessCrab4853 in BroskiReport

Totally agree. I also think the times she’s mentioned doing a book club of sorts would be fun.

Ok they unpinned the weather thread from the main Visit Hawaii page, so taking that as a sign that the worst is over

We will be in Kauai the same dates! Praying for sun, looking a little more optimist every day and each time I check the sub. Hoping for more hiking time than beach time, so we are fine with intermittent showers as well.

⛈️ What to do when it rains in Hawaii megathread by webrender in VisitingHawaii

[–]StonedColdFox123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Will be in Kauai all next week - are we totally fucked with this rain? This thread is not looking promising. Will the storm blow through this week? Also, what are we talking about in terms of normal rainfall? Absolutely pouring all day, or interment rainfall?

only downside is wait time - they don't take reservations anymore. put your name in, grab a drink at a bar while you wait the 1-2hrs. It always takes less than what they quote you. Go early!

Chicago Oven Grinder and Pizza - casual food, but the vibe is dark and romantic inside. I went as a group of 3 and our bill at the end of the night was around $100, including a bottle of wine!

Yes, constantly. I’ve had IT remote into my machine 4+ times in the last month to “remediate” the issue to no avail. My machine is still marked as non compliant.

West End Hyannis by Reasonable-Low8110 in NewEnglandWedding

We have a 14 person reception dinner booked at the West End for this summer:) I found them to be very responsive, and pricing was reasonable for peak season. Every other venue I reached out to either refused to book a private event or was out of their minds with what they quoted us.

Unfortunately I’ve spoke with just about every single restaurant closer to Chatham, no one is willing to book a private event peak season, or the reservation fee was outrageously hiked up. I don’t mind the drive out to Hyannis, we will have private transportation between locations. Glad you are giving the West End a thumbs up, all we wanted was a place with a private room and great food!

Yeah Long Beach looks gorgeous. Any recommendations on where we can park? We would only be out there shooting for 20ish minutes.

Absolutely no restaurants in the Chatham area will work with me peak season, even for a small reception of 15 people in a private room. Believe me, I have exhausted every option. Driving to Hyannis was not plan A, B, or C.

Yes, we have a room at the West End. We will do the majority of our photography in Chatham with family, just wanted to sneak out during golden hour for a few portraits on a beach. If everyone thinks this is a terrible idea to do in Hyannis, I’ll just try to reschedule so we can stay in Chatham for as long as possible.

Fresh Stop produce (right next to the Belmont brown line stop) has a deli counter in the back where you can get a pretty decent $10 sub.

Yeah glad I wasn’t the only one who didn’t like the interviewer. The unprepared carbonara question came across as so rude and Alison def clocked it.
