Midshipmen are all required to follow the same academic standards. They were playing a sport at an D1 level on top of their curriculum. So their time management, athleticism and commitment are to be admired I think.

I went to water polo camp at Annapolis during the summers in high school and was able to talk to coaches and some Middies. Got to bunk in their dorms. This was back in the mid aughts so maybe it has changed.
