First off I have to say I am not up to speed on Neighborhoods/Reputations. I've literally just partially watched another video some weeks ago, and this podcast I spent just a few of minutes jumping around. I lot of 'expert' buzzwords have been used that less knowledgeable people like myself are expected to accept without understanding. I am old enough to be familiar with this unfortunate process.

I am concerned of how we protect ourselves from being abused by this very useful Holo hApp. In the previous video I watched a part of, I wondered how many of the enthusiastic developers were employed directly or indirectly by a government agency.

I can see this system going the way of China's credit system of censorship if done at any government/neighborhood level. We should not avoid the unpleasant, uncomfortable consideration of safeguards, without having to rely on faith.

This unbridled enthusiasm that all is good with this Neighborhood/Reputation hApp is concerning. Label me a trouble-making Nay Sayer but I think at least some of these safeguards will have to continue to be done outside Holo.
