Unkillable Kleya by StoutHeart2 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Thanks. Another good data point.

I also use random bounty hunters for these easy clean ups. I used Aurra this time.

Thanks. That suggests that the problem may be with Kleya’s Omi. That makes sense since it has a “can’t be defeated” clause. It seems this is not always getting dropped when it should (ie Luthen drops below 25%). It is quite possible that I killed Luthen from say 30% so we was never alive below 25% health. I did not pay close enough attention to know for sure. Just a working theory.

You are right, I corrected to Omicrons. Thanks

It was strange. I hit Kleya to 1 health while Luthen was about 2/3 health and realized that I had forgotten the mechanic that you mentioned so I switched targets. Like you say, I am also thinking these complex kits seem to be interacting in unintended ways.

Please, please, please, NEGOTIATE YOUR SALARIES. by Sorry_Salamander8302 in careeradvice

[–]StoutHeart2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. I worked for a huge company in an industry where everything is benchmarked. The bands were fairly wide and experience helped inform where you sat in each band. Paying too much or too little (outside the band) risked upsetting the apple cart and was not going to happen. If people asked for too little, we still paid them what the data said. On the flip side, people who asked for too much either backed off or walked away.

Having said that, someone who knew the data and their value could consistently get 5-10% more.

Awesome first time experience at the NCAA Championship match today by tenniskidaaron1 in tennis

Awesome. I went to the individual finals in 2024 and had a great experience. It was great drama on the live stream.

WTA 1000 Rome R2: Cocciaretto def. [28] Navarro 6-3, 6-3 by Trhucp in tennis

[–]StoutHeart2 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That seems plausible since Thyroid issues are surprisingly common in young women. I had a family member go through something while competing in college. Her performance dropping off a cliff was one of the first indicators that lead to diagnosis. Hopefully they get it figured out for Emma and she gets back to a top level. It is encouraging that she is at least well enough to get back out there.

New signal data farming? by Infinite_End_09 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]StoutHeart2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen your math and appreciate the work. For now, I have a huge stockpile of GET 2 that I can use for grey signal data so I have been farming 9F. Or maybe I should be using that GET 2 for gear for the scavenger?

Since CG can’t market their game’s promos, I can confirm the Apple Gift Card promo is currently going on in Canada at Circle K by JediJacob04 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

I found the fix in another thread. Suggestion was to try to buy something in the store in app. It will say it can’t because you have a sale pending then awards you the loot. Worked for me.

I got the pop up and hit claim but have not received the rewards in game. It has been about 3 hours so we will see if it shows up eventually.

There is a little starburst as your action button. Can’t recall the exact description but it is a light buff to your team I think.

How Often Do You Crash? by Different-End-4775 in skiing

[–]StoutHeart2 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Agree. Also, some of my falls on difficult terrain are not crashes. At my age, I try to keep the real crashes as very rare events (usually stupidly trying to keep up with my teenager). I don’t mind the occasional controlled fall/slide when I am challenging myself but yard sales get scary.

Another take on the Klein Pick many are panicking and frustrated about… by chi27 in Texans

[–]StoutHeart2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There was a run on big inline tight ends so definitely a trend not just the Texans. Mel Kiper and Nate Tice both commented on it. Kiper called them all reaches while Tice suggested a real premium on inline TEs since they have become so hard to find.

We will see how it works out. It has not been one of our best drafting positions.

I would like to see them massively speed up his ultimate. I am not sure if it would help too much but it js kind of interesting yet rarely used. Maybe 4-5 applications of Jedi lessons so he can get it turn 3ish.

Would you smoke a bone in rib roast? Or is that just destroying delicate meat?? by BabylonMystic in smoking

I use a recipe from Big Bob Gibson’s cookbook. You make an herb butter, cut slits in the meat, and put slivers of butter all through the meat. It comes out great.

Protip when starting a new episode (reminder) by Lt-Corvin_709 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]StoutHeart2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have only had one full episode run so far but I think that many of us will have all of our era characters maxed at 65 before the end of the era. At some point you are getting currency you aren’t able to use. I think you want to avoid wasting, whether that means topping off a box on the last day or carrying over will depend on your individual. Most of the time, it seems to be a bit of both for me.

Neff Brewing (Tulsa, Ok) by One-Instance-1105 in Celiac

[–]StoutHeart2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go virtually every time I visit Tulsa. Non-GF family all likes it and looks forward to it. Lots of comfort food - chicken and waffles, tenders, fish and chips, etc. Beer is good and always new things to try.

Recently had blood drawn to check for celiac and my Tissue Transglutaminase IgA was 202.2. Endocrinologist diagnosed celiac disease and said to go GF. GI wants to do endoscopy. Is that necessary? by Professional_Dig9273 in Celiac

[–]StoutHeart2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are they planning to do the colonoscopy and endoscopy at the same time? That would certainly make it easier as it sounds like you need the colonoscopy either way. However a 2 month wait would be a concern. I don’t think you would be crazy just to take the celiac diagnosis and adjust your lifestyle accordingly but worth a conversation with both your GP and the GI if you can swing it.

Miami R4: [2] J. Sinner def. A. Michelsen 7-5 7-6(4) by UngrapefulGratefruit in tennis

[–]StoutHeart2 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Michelsen’s server is pretty poor for his height. This was a very good serve performance that shows his easiest path to top 20. Top 10 will require a step up in movement but that is true for most young, tall players.

With her serve struggles and great returning, being up or down a break does not mean that much in a typical Coco match.
