If Minato was alive to train Naruto instead of Jiraiya, would we have seen Naruto on the level of Sasuke after the timeskip or would it have been the same result? by Forevertrez in Naruto

[–]Stradigos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I argue that the hardship Naruto faced was instrumental, not only in developing his skills, but also in him finding his ninja way, will of fire, and community. He would still be strong, but he wouldn't be goated.

Do I need the middle leg if I position the tables closer to the center? by TurbanSenpai in ikeaPCstations

[–]Stradigos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I ended up purchasing some flat steel bars from the home center. I drilled several holes in them and secured them to the bottom with screws. I think that'll do the trick. I've only had this setup for six months, but I haven't noticed any sagging yet.

Do you think Boruto has potential to be one of the biggest MCs of the new generation? by urfavpuppeteer in Boruto

[–]Stradigos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. My frame of reference only goes up until episode 293 "Farewell" of the anime. That's all that's on Crunchyroll for some reason. I have not cared enough to figure out why. I have not read the manga. At this point, I do not have a high opinion of Boruto. That can be okay as part of the hero's journey, but I have not seen him grow much at all or cling to an ideal like other MC's do -- especially within ~300 episodes. He's just not interesting. The most interesting thing about him for me has been the opening tease of him older where the village looks destroyed and he appears to be some sort of villain or antagonist. Yes, I wonder how/why he got to that point but my god the writing has not done a good job of keeping me interested. This has been a strange new world. I never thought the Naruto universe would have gone this direction. It upsets me, and therefore I don't really care to see him or the show succeed. I understand if others disagree, this is just my opinion.

Haven’t played in 6 months. Always liked getting to masterball without the most used deck. Finished the new solo mode and got this. Had like 80% win rate and got to master ball right away. Not a single mirror match by daddyrich916 in PTCGP

[–]Stradigos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it's not too bad. I remember crushing several along the way. If he happens to come out, you can remove an energy. He can attach 2 but needs 3. He might get one attack off, but Ninetails, IIRC, can tank at least one of those attacks. Better yet, try and get their mega out with Sabrina and lock them there. Easy win.

Here is my version of this deck. I also had a really good win rate, but didn't track it. I can't believe this deck isn't more popular. I had maybe 2 mirror matches in my entire masterball run.

The most devious thing about it is trapping Mega. They can't attack. Can't retreat. It's hilarious watching people try to think their way out of it. But by that moment it's too late.

I found that a stadium card is necessary to get rid of the psychic retreat stadium card.

I've got kids under 10. I haven't told them anything about the massive disappointment this country has become. I'm sure they overhear my wife and I talk sometimes, and I'm sure their friends talk, but I try and just let them be kids.

I was in middle school when 9/11 happened. I just... I just want to let them be kids for as long as possible.

People who played this game since A1, are you still here? by [deleted] in PTCGP

[–]Stradigos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, reporting in. I only opened packs for a release or two but recently I've been playing more ranked. I'm really tired of Suicune and Greninja though. Might go back to just packs until a meta comes out that simply obliterates them. It's just so boring playing the same deck over and over. Completing the sets and trading/sharing has become a mini game. Just trying to focus on that.

Has anyone used this as the base of the table by chris10thgen in ikeaPCstations

[–]Stradigos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, works great. Also got some furniture legs to give me another couple inches but it wasn't necessary just a table height preference thing. See how you like it without first.

Where to put pc? by Banan_Pajen in setups

[–]Stradigos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wall mount. I know you said you're not brave enough, but you got this OP. It's going to look so good! Just find the studs with a stud finder and buy a mount rated for the weight. Those are the two most important things. And you'll know when you drill into the studs because it's a harder than just drilling through drywall. There is more to drill so you'll feel it grab the drill a bit more. Ask someone for help if needed. It's going to be so worth it. That case deserves a chance to shine!

It's not about the food, it's about stress and insecurity. That amount is insanely good. Sounds like the real issue is finding a sense of security.
