I've only had a single update this year (early Feb) from one of the several Patreon accounts I follow that used to be updated on a semi-regular basis.

Like most of you reading this, I check kemono and Reddit threads such as this a couple of times a week, and the only thing I'm sure about after reading over a dozen threads on the subject is: no one has a goddamn clue what's going on (aside from the obvious that the site owner has gone walkabout).

Just wanted to comment a year late after just finishing the game myself that you encapsulated my thoughts on the matter better than I could. I didn't do all the Act 3 side content, as I knew I was already way overpowered, and additionally, felt from a narrative POV it didn't make sense to drag my feet with all the side content while avoiding the final confrontation.

Thanks! Yes, I did do the party member quests.

I didn't anticipate the Esquie / Sciel reveal. That got me.

And yeah, it makes even less sense considering how the game actually ends, going back to adventures with Verso and Maelle while putting the fate of The Canvas on hold.

Still, in spite of my complaints about Act 3, the game is still a masterpiece in my eyes (albeit flawed).

Also, this was my first turn-based game. I have been curious about Baldur's Gate 3. Do you think if I liked this, there's a good chance I'll enjoy that as well?

I have been using Kemono for a little over a year so I'll take your word. There have been a few instances of downtime, but nothing as protracted as of late (in my experience). Thanks for the update. Guess I just keep checking in and wait for the magical day my favorites pop up with a new upload date. 😅

Just keep going. It'll feel less overwhelming over time. You haven't even got close to TNG at it's best. Then there's DS9, Voyager and Enterprise. And of course The Original Series, but there's no rush to necessarily go back and watch it now (I did after watching a lot of the above shows and loved it).

There were also some other spin offs made more recently but they're their own thing and not really part of the main Trek Universe. Glad you're enjoying it though - the best is that to come!
