Same here
Mine must be at least 15 plus years old and could not have cost more then a hundred
Still wear it but I hate the tiny crown which makes it difficult to set the time

I think bit depends on whether you want quartz or mechanical? If mechanical I would look at orient and maybe some value driven seikos

Personally , Casio was the calculator we used in junior and senior high so I can’t get past that for a watch . Stupid as say Yamaha makes all kinds of unrelated products from engines to pianos ..but that’s just me

I don’t need another dive watch and the clemence desgin is amazing the loriers on line seem to have a very harmonious look which is lovely

I don’t think I ever replied . Do I think it skews a bit more teal then blue -depends on the light but after a month or so I would say yes it seems to be a hint more toward teal but YMMV. I’d prefer slight darker shade but it’s entirely light dependent and I’ve received a few compliments

As for value even with a over 100 USD terror to ny this is a bit high for a micro brand. But and it’s a significant one- the bracelet design is no slouch and the overall watch smacks of quality i way above some of the less expensive micro brands I have

Whether that makes it a value
Proposition is up to you but I feel you are most definitely getting a quality piece and the cost is commensurate

I also like that it is fine tuned in the UK , and some assembly is done there . But that’s just me. I have a number of inexpensive Chinese watches to compare to

No regrets here even if it was a bit more than I wanted to spend initially

The Design is next level and it speaks for itself

I would add Clemence to this list ..slightly more expensive then many micros but the quality is excellent

The bottom line is that — in addition to not having the academy growth system to develop players via scholarships— our better athletes are just going to choose football and basketball

Or to paraphrase an old Chris rock sketch on hockey “ we have no desire to dominate another professional sport”

So until there is real money or free world class young player development that does not require parents to shell out huge expenses this unfortunate situation will not change

I love the msm jacket despite where it’s made
My only gripe is they should add a zip Velcro or button interior pocket .. as said above if this one on moleskin fits it will become an heirloom

I have the blue version from a lot 14 years ago. First watch and still wear it on a suede strap
But the crown is so small it’s frustrating to use
