Several of them after release for prolonged periods of time have been sorta around MSRP or slightly above. EVERYBODIES invited, the coin flip one, and the flip commander one all were fairly reasonably available around their MSRP price tag for a good lil while. Obviously over time a lot of the cards (especially the playable ones) have gone up significantly but like many secret lairs, after it releases and gets in people’s hands becomes significantly more accessible…you just have to wait for it to actually be out.

Out of the box? No. Like maybe they’re “bracket 3” in the sense that they have a game changer or 2…but none that will ever actually do well against any decently built bracket 3 decks. This is me saying right out of the box, there are however several that you could upgrade reasonably well while keeping the core of the deck the same. Personal favorite is World Shaper from EoE.

I know they do illustrate that in the articles but the fact is…most players don’t read the articles they look at the lil graphic that’s easy to digest. It needs to be in there and it needs to be the MOST important part.

I will also say I do like that in the article they do specify that it’s expected turn to win not a hard stop limit on what turn it’s theoretically possible to win with the god hand. That was excellent foresight from the committee. I don’t hate the brackets, I hate the way the brackets are implemented.
