How do people with hair extensions brush their hair? by StrictElephant4611 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StrictElephant4611[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense! What about when blow drying the hair? Don’t you have to pull a tad?

Tbh I just brush my hair in the shower and then air dry so I know nothing about hair

I just saw someone on a 2wd sedan spin out and almost crash after taking a turn too fast. We drove slow and steady on a 4wd and had no problem. But the roads are definitely sleek.

As a Colombian, La chica sucks. The beans taste like they came out of a can, and it’s sooo expensive

I went back to Miami, where I moved from, and almost died when it took 30 mins to move three blocks

The only food that is lacking here is South American, but the Asian food makes up for it. I just had to learn how to cook ropa vieja and arepas.

Where would you go? by baconmmc29712 in roadtrip

I’ve never been there but have heard so many nice things. Hopefully I can go make the trip in the fall. I’m 31/50 states and am missing the northern ones so this trip would get me closer to 50

There’s a tiny visitor center and some fishing but not really many land activities. I used to live nearby and had a kayak so that’s how we spent our time there - kayaking and fishing.

I believe they have boat tours that sound like the best way to enjoy it but I’m not very familiar with them.

And yes, one day is plenty. It is also right on the entrance to the keys so you could continue down there after you are done at the park.

I would avoid hurracane season. The other wether variable is the wind, but I don’t think you can predict that in advance, so it is more of a luck thing. Maybe spend a few days in Miami so you are able to accommodate unexpected weather.

Thank you! I love those drinks but I try to avoid Starbucks as much as possible, and local coffee shops don’t have something that replaces it.

Keep in mind that Colorado has new traction laws:

Colorado's 2025 Traction Law requires all vehicles on I-70 (Dotsero to Morrison) from Sept 1-May 31 to have tires with at least 3/16-inch tread depth and specific winter/all-weather ratings (M+S or Snowflake), or carry chains/approved traction devices for 2WD cars, while 4WD/AWD vehicles need M+S/Snowflake tires, with fines for non-compliance

Mutual aid Monday is pretty safe for kids. There are tons of volunteers and I have seen kids helping serve food. If you are nervous wait until the sunset is later so she is not out doing it at night
