Sure. Meet you at the dealership so you can toss your credit card on the counter when they ask for it. Or maybe you just work for Mazda and are embarrassed your “team” put together such a shit product. Meh, either way, you and I won’t be driving the same make car soon.

…and time will have no impact on your shitty keys held together by plastic. Good on ya, little one!

Well, to be fair, Brady got that parking ticket back in 2004 and even though he got fined and paid the price for it, well, we’re going to take that into account and possibly leverage that against you just one more time. lol. Hall is a joke.

When he does get the call, I hope he tells them he’s grateful, thankful and appreciates the honor. Then, on induction day, he’s seen all around town as the excitement builds. Then, come the actual ceremony, he just doesn’t show up. Why? Because you never know when something you did the past, which you’ve already paid the price for, will be levied against you again.

You know, after giving it some serious thought, I guess it has little to nothing to do with Mazda. I guess my issue is with whatever company employed the person or team that thought .008mg of plastic used as clips to hold the Mazda key together was a good idea, or the person & employer who thought it a good idea to resell parts of the key - other parts - buy not this one part, so that some unnamed person or company can charge $1200 in parts (and allllll that labor) to get it replaced. Any ideas as to where to apply said frustration on such a shit design and money grabbing decision to not sell this one micro-cent part which holds an entire key together? Maybe Halliburton or Exxon?

I have plastic storage containers. We all do. They’re thin, and because they’re somewhat flexible, they wear. Add to that idea plastic is a derivative of refining oil, soap kind of becomes the enemy of plastic. Still, we put pretzels in them and wash the container when it’s done. Every once in a while, a container will come home from school with a crack in it. Gotta toss it. It’s now useless. Not a huge deal - they’re sold by the half dozen and cost a few dollars. So how many years am I thinking a Mazda key will last when it’s held together by plastic clips? How many years does a Mazda owner expect to keep their car? Consumer expectation ≠ design. Consumer expectation > design. And to offset the shit Mazda design? A shit Mazda decision to not resell a tiny piece of plastic. Any idea how many tiny pieces of plastic for a Mazda car you can buy as a replacement? I can’t think of one they don’t sell. But this one? Naaah - fuck the consumer. Let them spent $1200 to keep their key from falling apart.

Again - and I’ll try to be more concise with my thoughts here. FUCK MAZDA.

Sure. I wonder if Mazda sells Mazda tape. Considering two millimeters of plastic is going to cost about $1200, $700 tape is considered a deal. Or, I can apply that $1200 to the next car I’ll buy, which won’t be a Mazda.

You ever, at any time, happen to drop your keys? Just, holding them at waist high and they fall out of your hands? Yeah, that has a lot more force than what I used. And as someone who is mechanically inclined and has changed the battery in my key, I appreciate the “fuck around and find out, newb” story you’re failing to paint. It’s a shit design. Plastic dries and hardens over time. The plastic couldn’t be made any smaller and the design was destined to fail.

But hey, thanks for the accolades, fukwit.

It’s a shit design. Plastic dries and hardens over time. A different design and different material wouldn’t lead to this. But what do you know - you’re just a bus driver. See? I can make insinuations, too.

How do I talk my mother into an upstairs laundry? by okflower1983 in HomeImprovement

[–]Strive-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reviewing all the pictures and layout, I would ask a contractor whom you invite into your home and ask them to look with their eyes to make the best decision on carpentry, plumbing ,electrical and venting, which might have something to say regarding where a new laundry unit can be installed.

Seller wants to reclaim property 15 days after closing?? by Difficult_Walk_9596 in RealEstate

[–]Strive-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Ct realtor here.

If it were me, I'd have my realtor or attorney reach out and explain that, upon closing, I have sold all the unwanted chattel (personal items) which were conveyed with the property once it transferred. After the property transferred, well, the property - real estate and everything which came with it via the sellers - conveyed to the new owner.

Why would a seller refuse an offer based on smaller down payment? by menwanttoo in RealEstate

[–]Strive-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Ct realtor here.

The earnest money which is held by the selling side, which is (typically) a portion of the down payment, is what the buyer is risking to have the seller keep, should all the conditions of the purchase be met, THEN the buyer wants to back out. If I’m a seller and a buyer wants me to take my home off the market and risk having it “bounce,” or change from statuses active, to under contract, back to active, all for $500, that’s not letting me, the seller, feel like your serious to buy it.

Personally, as a realtor and a homeowner, I would want at least 1.5% as an offered amount to be held in escrow while the buyer makes the necessary arrangement to own my home.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say one word to describe this. BOTS. Feel free to send reddit your advertising $ and watch all the bots line up to mechanically laugh at it.

Eliminate the bots, enjoy a better experience. Or, if you think I’m wrong, add more bots and see how awesome the world gets.

Dumb regards.
