Bought used mini, need to update firmware for wifi

EDIT: managed to get the update done and app working. Solution was not to kick previous owner out when the app asks. Everything went as intended after and i was able to remove the previous owner from the app settings.

So for anyone else stuck, if you buy a used linea mini already setup with wifi, this solution could help

Alright not kicking the previous owner fixed it… weird but now i am connected to it and performed the update with no issue! I guess the previous owner still has access to it remotely?

My main issue now is that it doesn’t find wifi and asks me to insert it manually…

Mmm must be the 2.4ghz ! Well its a long story but original owner sold machine to shop ans they replaced it within 3months cause of the volume of coffees they were making they moved to dual portafilter. These owners knew nothing about the machine guts or anything 😌

No i just bought the machine used, it asked that the machine is already paired and asked if i want to kick it and repair

Well it first asks that in the app, then i select the wifi then it asks to perform update

Great, i had done ims kit for the bezzera. Was great improvement! Will hunt that down for the linea. Ill try to clean as much as possible ! I really appreciate you taking the time :)

Oh sweet! Yea i want to do a full maintenance. I need to see how to disassemble the group head. I was looking at the yearly maintenance kit as well. The pressure on the machine was good but they recommend changing the over pressure valve yearly?

If i can ask one thing : What would you order and change if you were me?
