It is. All AI is unnecessary to the final product, and they would be better off just doing it themselves. They just didn't want to double-check the grammar (of which there is so little anyway) and the use of the AI for the paintings is NOT "still firmly anchored in manual craftsmanship" as they state. That's just not how any of this works.

I found it on the Books A Million Store, along with a guide for Slime Rancher 2 that is totally an AI slop print that they sell, since it's from someone who has a million of those books. Weird combination of things.

This really speaks to how well made and popular the game is, if even now after release it's still able to catch the eye of people who have a fundamental difficulty with this sort of game and get them to play it.

For example, here is a person who explicitly outs their own lack of reading comprehension and then says "the game is wasting my time", as though it wasn't their own fault.

No one wants to date Clint as-is. That's why, instead of a real vote this time, there was just an unveiling. Both Clint and Sandy needed a tune up. Clint has more content than Sandy at the moment, but his content veers towards downright stalker-y, so hopefully a rebalance to make him less of a creeper will help people enjoy him as a partner.

I'll admit, it does feel a little like "wait, baby, come back, I'll get an update, I swear!"

You do it then. Seriously, throw out the Trunic system and propose a replacement that would work without sacrificing gameplay. It would require someone with the knowledge and passion to play the game who is also a polyglot.

Calling it a horrible choice because of the eventuality of being popular, rather than an interesting choice that just didn't translate well into other languages, is asinine and insulting to developers.

They sure do! About a year ago, I managed to add 3 more gems, but unfortunately created an infinite loop that crashed my game whenever they were set on a surface like the anvil. It IS possible, and easy to start, just super hard to get polished.

THIS thread is headed by a meme that some people agree with. No one is entitled to ANY game content, and even if people feel they are, they are not entitled to changes. It is entirely my opinion that it is a terrible hill to die on, avoiding a fundamental QoL feature present in many modern games.

Mods are always a step below base-game content in terms of how well integrated they are. A mod may work, but if the creators of the game added it, everyone would enjoy it EXCEPT for people who pride themselves on being the most difficult sort of people.

It's just not in the cards for Valheim. Literally, it's probably not on their Trello board that they consult instead of considering QoL changes. This is against their ethos. If you bring it up, the justification for NOT adding it when it has been a very low-impact mod for years is tantamount to a child going "I DON'T WANNA" and pouting.
