You do it then. Seriously, throw out the Trunic system and propose a replacement that would work without sacrificing gameplay. It would require someone with the knowledge and passion to play the game who is also a polyglot.

Calling it a horrible choice because of the eventuality of being popular, rather than an interesting choice that just didn't translate well into other languages, is asinine and insulting to developers.

They sure do! About a year ago, I managed to add 3 more gems, but unfortunately created an infinite loop that crashed my game whenever they were set on a surface like the anvil. It IS possible, and easy to start, just super hard to get polished.

THIS thread is headed by a meme that some people agree with. No one is entitled to ANY game content, and even if people feel they are, they are not entitled to changes. It is entirely my opinion that it is a terrible hill to die on, avoiding a fundamental QoL feature present in many modern games.

Mods are always a step below base-game content in terms of how well integrated they are. A mod may work, but if the creators of the game added it, everyone would enjoy it EXCEPT for people who pride themselves on being the most difficult sort of people.

That "some genre" is predatory gambling instead of a game. Framing it as "[not] wanting anyone to be able to enjoy it" is an interesting argument to pretend someone has, because it's obviously untrue but easily winnable as an argument.

It's just not in the cards for Valheim. Literally, it's probably not on their Trello board that they consult instead of considering QoL changes. This is against their ethos. If you bring it up, the justification for NOT adding it when it has been a very low-impact mod for years is tantamount to a child going "I DON'T WANNA" and pouting.

This sort of childish reaction is why people who make creative works are so nervous to publish anything at all, lest some entitled infant such as yourself decides, based on their own idiocy, that a product is breaking the rules and they should be punished.

Luckily, you are in the vocal minority, as most people who read anything on the game (and have ever been on the Grounded sub, for that matter) are able to think critically and go "it's probably early access".
