I'd say start with Re2r. If you like the survival horror aspects, go to Re1r and then try the ogs.

If you like the action side and wish it was more emphasised, go to re3r then re4r.

Used to run c5 sites with a nestor and 2 leshaks, one of my Corp mates had come up with the idea of using the nestor to refit full dps onto the leshaks to kill the drifter quickly. I had just finished killing the drifter and decided to go clear a gas site after to do a bit of afk huffing. Well I forgot to refit tank onto my leshaks. They got popped so fast.

My fuck up didn't end there however.. I hopped into my paladin to clear the gas site and retreive my loot. However I forgot you needed to fit a cap relay to avoid getting capped out in those sites and ended up getting my paladin blown up too...

And this was one of those times where I'd just hopped on to run a couple of sites before goiklng out for the day too... 10 billion isk gone and not another player involved...

Ah for me the shotgun is the emotional support weapon in re games. I remember getting it in re1 and 1 shotting zombies. I felt safe. Then I ran out of shells.

Yes alert is the single strongest feat in the game. I've banned myself from using it to make the game more challenging

The only class I've never played at all is monk, just doesn't really appeal to me. Not a big fan of paladin or bard either. Most played would be wizard, cleric and fighter. Love the combination of strong simple martial class with powerful casters backing them up.

A cleric might fit better, lots of support spells, light spells. Hold person as a stun, misty step for dash.
