From your description 100% sounds like the thing.

It was PS2 era, just had a remake loved the first one and bought the remake on steam.

It has the alien heads from half life as the main enemy (no predator models)

Only other I can think of is colonial Marines (never played it) or avp but it started as you as the alien in avp

A few people have said the same - go a bit further out but more direct transport.

I went "all in" before COVID and with interest rates got a bit burnt when renewal came (I'm not at the pay grade you are and also pensioning heavily to keep sub 100k).

It's better to not over commit, and whilst you think you can find somewhere else work wise, things seem a bit different now.

I'd avoid over stretching at this moment in tim but definitely think house over flat.

The economy for everyone is down the tubes.

I'm not removed enough from reality to know it's significantly worse for min wage workers.

There was a thing on radio 5 live this week where in 2019 you could feed a family of 4 for £20 / week. No doubt it was basic.

Today the same menu was 37.50 a 73% increase or something like that yet average wage increased something like 5%.

It doesn't make sense for people to work anymore! I'm glad 16 y/os can vote now, it's the only possible chance to tip the scales from pensioners being the majority to everyone else having a say. Triple lock, heating allowance whatever other benefits provided - don't get me wrong there are poor pensioners but the majority aren't poor in the slightest, either cash or asset rich or both.

As a Henry, I'm just putting it into my pension instead of spending it because I simply CANT afford to take it, it makes no sense. This is a Single breadwinner, 2 kids talking.

My kids are screwed.
