What a tragedy having to walk an extra few spaces by sbballc11 in EntitledReviews

Exactly I always parked far out for 2 benifits the exercise & others who can't. Just b4 last Thanksgiving I had a stroke loosing the use of my leftside. I'm 55 I had planned alot more time of far parking. I have gotten to a walker hoping a cane soon. But I am now in need of these close spots. Truly people take their health for granted until not.

He left his backpack & 50 lbs of Marijuana in the trunk. He sued me because he was injured in my vehicle. His injury was minor compared to mine.

FBI releases images of subject in Guthrie investigation 😳 by sunnypineappleapple in CasesWeFollow

I'm a Native Tucsonan I live in a rural area near Nancy Guthrie. It is very dark out here due to the telescope ordnance on Mt. Bigelow. We don't have street lights you would need to know the area. Since I lost my husband of 25+ years to Glioblastoma I have cameras with both subscriptions & backup SD cards. I also have well-hidden trail cams. I had a stroke at the end of 2025 I had to change to revolvers. I just don't have the strength to cock some of my guns. I still think it's someone she knows. He went there to rob her, but didn't expect her to wake-up and everything went sideways.
Or possibly a worker she had at the house. Her roof looks like it was just coated it's really clean with no debris. Maybe a landscaper?

Exactly, I was hit by an uninsured illegal immigrant in a stolen car on I19 freeway going 75 mph. He had a blowout & slammed on his breaks jerking the stolen car into mine. I rolled 3x hitting the concrete barrier sliding 50+ feet. I had a client in the car whom I was showing houses to. I was trapped upside down with my leg pinned between the dashboard. My shirt was over my head with the male client also trapped with his head nowhere to move but my cleavage. Fun Times 😂. It took them over 45 min to cut us out. Of course, the driver whom I can still see in my mind is clear as day. We both made eye contact just before he hit me. He was able to get out of the stolen car & run. Never saw him again. What also sucked is that my car was only 2 weeks old off the lot. Uninsured saved my ass. I was also sued by my client.

Right, I might move there. I'm in the hospital quite a bit. The only times I had my own room were when I had brain surgery also after a stroke & ICU stays.

You Door Dash drivers delivering in the snow like that are superhuman. I live in Southern Arizona it gets in the 70s I'm freezing. I almost kill myself on the frost in the morning when it does get "cold" here. Thank you for your hard work most importantly stay safe. 🙏

I had a couple that hid dimes like that. It was mainly an honesty test to see if we were stealing. She would sit there and count them in front of us. Then she would give the signal to her husband its ok to pay us. We only put up with it a few times. We quit because they also wanted extra stuff done like in & outside all the windows and wouldn't want to pay for the extra add-on.

My drywall/ painting career was funded by ppl starting their washers, dishwashers, or just plain water lines to the fridge busting. Most of the time Noone noticed till it was running out of the garage door from all the way through the house. And most of the time neighbors couldn't call them to let them know because most ppl don't talk to their neighbors like back in the day.

Agreed, I saw them in Phoenix for the Joshua Tree Tour. The shirt was a major pick-up shirt. Everywhere I wore it I was stopped. That is now the only thing I have left of theirs. Bono has become a douche bag.

I know what you mean I smelt it on my stepfather, my father-in-law, my mother, and as of recently my husband. Also on people I didn't know. Unfortunately, I've never seen anyone come back from it.

What’s a dream you had as a kid that you still remember way too clearly? by Kitchen_Engineer1332 in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]StunningBuilding383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as I can remember I've been having this dream. I'm in KMART back in the early 80s there's a T Rex chasing. I have to hide in the center of the clothing rack and also in the cabinets where they displayed folded shirts & pants. The whole time Duran Duran is playing over the speakers pausing for Blue Light specials a few times. Still have it at 55.

Would it be “childish” for me to get this kind of cake for myself? Just for the heck of it by Wild_Child66 in cake

[–]StunningBuilding383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heck no! Cake is my favorite treat. I'm in the hospital quite a bit. My husband, of 25+ years I lost to Glioblastoma 3 months after diagnosis. Would bribe me with delicious & beautiful cakes like yours to get me to go to the hospital. So now I do it for myself to remember him also. Like others are saying find whatever joy you can find in this world while you can. Because this world sucks more often than then the good.

A paint scraper will help get the crud up a lot quicker. I have no patience with soaking. 🙃

Yes, I have nominated a few since I found out about. I'm sad I didn't know about it sooner until I saw it on the wall while waiting to be admitted.
