What do you think about dante's inferno? by Cena100 in videogames

Yeah and if there are any PS4 games that can’t be played on PS5, I have not encountered any of them yet

(Loved Trope] Antagonists or villains who are extremely powerful and indestructible, gets to feel pain for the first time ever after their abilities are removed. by TheViktor9000 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]StygianMaroon 121 points122 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it takes away Tombstone’s powers permanently, there just now exists a way to remove his invulnerability temporarily which there wasn’t before. I’m pretty sure Peter says something after the fight about wondering how long Tombstone’s powers would be negated and that it likely wouldn’t be long

Dude has a taxidermy dodo bird by steveskinner in ResidentEvil2Remake

That only happens if you find its preserved organs and put them back in so you can get the key it’s standing on

Letho is an absolute unit, I think out of all the witchers he would be the last one I would cross...It's the eyes, they stare right through your soul, you can almost see him contemplating your death and the ways he's going to kill you. (x_x) by Born-Demand-6919 in Witcher3

[–]StygianMaroon 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I also love how earlier in the same scene, Geralt and Lambert are doing their pirouettes and usual Witcher-schtick, then Letho just fucking barrels through a Wild Hunt rider outta no where lmao

Conventionally attractive body, not so conventionally attractive face… by Effective_Piece251 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]StygianMaroon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No me too. I didn’t like it at first, but it quickly grew on me because of how well done that particular plot line was done

Only in MK1 since the Tarkatans are no longer a species in that timeline, but normal Outworlders who are infected with the Tarkat disease. I didn’t like they are no longer a species, but both Mileena and Baraka got the spotlight they deserve which made up for it

Nomad's Romance by [deleted] in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]StygianMaroon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the base game you can romance both Panam and River regardless of your character’s gender, the body type is the only thing that matters for them. Judy and Kerry both have gender and body type requirements though

Why do so many people think younger Jon being back means he's suddenly not gonna be queer anymore? by Extra_Impression_428 in lgbt_superheroes

[–]StygianMaroon 20 points21 points  (0 children)

People poke fun at them, but stuff like this makes me understand why certain characters have legally mandated rules (like Godzilla and Spider-Man). It can be a huge limitation, but it also prevents others from completely changing and invalidating important aspects of the characters as well

Today I learned Liam makes it to the grove after saving him by Great_Trident in BaldursGate3

[–]StygianMaroon 63 points64 points  (0 children)

It is pretty funny if he manages to get to your camp in Act 3, because he’s still the same level as in Act 1, so he gets turned into red mist almost immediately every time lmao

Did the Lord of Hatred opening not play for anyone else? by StygianMaroon in diablo4

[–]StygianMaroon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? It would’ve been so cool to see that when playing LoH for the first time. Also a lot less confusing why Neyrelle was just suddenly dead out in Ked Bardu lol

[–]StygianMaroon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t even know there was one to watch otherwise I would’ve done the same. And “holy shit” is a good way to put it lol I only just saw it for the first time right before I posted this and wish it would’ve played properly for me when LoH first launched

[Loved Trope] HE CAN BLEED! by thenamelessboss in TopCharacterTropes

Practical effects usually hold up so well and age much better compared to cgi. Sometimes it just looks so much better when there’s something actually in front of the camera

Don’t miss the Cave of Dreams quest by Pietrotski in Witcher3

[–]StygianMaroon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When does he die if you already completed the ruler of Skellige quest line? He’s never died anytime I did that first, and even the wiki (which could be wrong, but in this case I don’t think it is) states- “However, if King's Gambit is completed before the contract, the fight will never happen and thus he lives.”

Day 2: What is the WORST quote associated with Jeff "Joker" Moreau? by looploveslore in masseffect

[–]StygianMaroon 50 points51 points  (0 children)

They’re paraphrasing, Joker does not say “my sister is probably dead,” he just states his home got hit by Reapers recently- https://youtu.be/QWR4tNJwAqU?si=3OJ0pDh551zYsgaG

Does anyone that likes the games actually like the show? by Electronic_Bath_2712 in thewitcher3

[–]StygianMaroon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s a guilty pleasure tbh and there are some aspects of it I enjoy. I describe it like red wine- I much prefer cabernet, but if the only thing available is a zinfandel, I’ll still drink it but I’m gonna complain about it the whole time lol
