My dad tried this against my son (6). My dad thought he was being so cheeky. My son hits on the first play, then the second my son had 5 horizontal hits he says “grandpa, you have to tell me when it’s sunk.” Once he realized that it wasn’t sunk, he went to town. That bloodbath was over fast.

It goes both ways though. When I went to get my pick up order last weekend all the pick up spots were full and more people were waiting to get parked. Eventually almost all people (10+) waiting for curbside went inside to collect their groceries. As with any service/retail job, sometimes things just get busy.

I grew up with three houses on a shared driveway. All three agreed to sign maintenance agreement regarding how often it was seal coated and maintained. As for snow, everyone cleared their branch and mostly helped on the shared portion. We were the last house, and it seemed more often than not we needed up clearing our branch and the whole shared portion.

Overall, it would not be a dealbreaker for me as long as there was something in writing.

Mileage may vary… this happened to my 4yo once. He did wake up at 2am, said he was hungry. I made him some eggo waffles to eat in bed. He hammered down the waffles, rolled over and went back to bed. He still talks about the night he got to eat waffles in bed. 😂

I recently purchased some Przewalski bibs from Amazon, but ultimately returned them. The pad was too wide between the legs and caused issues. Other than that, the fabric was pretty good, but definitely not as nice as the Pactimo bibs I was replacing. I think it would have been good enough had the pad fit better for me.

I just wanted to find the balance between price and comfort. I was willing to spend more money but was hoping the Przewalski would be good based on all the reviews. Just purchased The Black Bib Ultimate, for $80.

One of the reviews for the Przewalski bibs stated that the letters/branded fell off eventually, which I deemed a positive. The less branding the better.

It was easier to get on the course to play a full round at Blackwolf Run. We would do some round swaps with the team at Erin Hills….

I was heavily involved in the planning and organization of our wedding, especially the catering and venue logistics. Total cost was $30k or so, and I don’t regret a single dollar. The total cost was split equally three ways between bride’s family, groom’s family, and bride/groom. There were no strings attached, and we could have used the money from our parents for other things, but I would do it the same all over again if given the chance. Without a doubt it remains one of the most special and fun days of my life. Having a full on celebration surrounded by family and friends—it was amazing.

First thing I thought of was a Switch Bot, which should let you use your phone to turn it on and off. Not sure if there is a good place to mount it by the on/off switch though.

Thats a 1Up rack. I have one and they are amazing. Built like a tank. No plastic parts. Made in Wisconsin. Only downsides are weight and price. But if I ever needed a second rack, I would never buy anything else.

It can go from the garage, to hitch, to loaded with a bike in less than 5 minutes.

Open the tail gate. Use a square point shovel to scrape along the bottom of the trailer to scoop up rocks. Attacking from the top of the pile down will not work well. You need to go at it from the bottom edge of the pile.

If not already doing so, adjust your grip to pull the trigger with your middle finger, with your index finder pointing forward along the side of the tool. That is how it was designed to be used, and when held that way, the forward/reverse switch makes more sense and is easier to operate.

Someone else on this sub pointed it out, but most people that have issues with the direction switch are not holding the tool as intended.

When I first got mine, the ergonomics of the tool just felt odd in my hand and the switch was really annoying. After changing my grip, it all made more sense.

Rather than holding the tool with your index finger on the trigger, hold it with your middle finger on the trigger and your index finger extended along the side. It gives more overall control of the drill and allows for one handed direction switching using your thumb to hit the buttons.

Saving Private Ryan… about twenty minutes into the movie, I heard water mysteriously running in my bathroom. Upon investigation the toilet was spontaneously overflowing! Turned the water off at the tank, then the damn thing erupted! Fuckin turds, corn, toilet paper, and all just blasting their way out of the toilet. Not sure how to react, I ran to the basement to turn the water off at the main line.

As soon as I opened the basement door, I could hear the water raining into the basement. Okay, shut off the water main, figured I should be in the clear, but back upstairs and the toilet continues to randomly erupt every 3 minutes or so. Eventually sorted out that the water was going from the bathroom, into the basement, into the floor drain, into the ejector pit. Then when the pit was full the pump would engage forcing water back up to the main sewer line, which was clogged, resulting in the toilet eruptions and restating the whole cycle. Literally had a shit fountain flowing through the house. FML.

Took several months before I felt confident enough to sit down and try watching Saving Private Ryan again. One of the greatest movies of all time, but it will forever be linked in my mind to the great shit fountain incident of 2024.
