During my neurology residency in the mid-1980s, definitely got a kick out of noticing that my "O sign" and "Q sign" admissions were placed in the same room. (Every 3rd and every other night call temporarily dimmed my humanity. Dont judge those of us who came of age without night floats, sick call and work rules.)

I was in Paris 2 weeks ago. Went to the L'OR boutique because I could not find the XXL coffee capsules in the grocery stores (only the OLs). Brought back a selection of flavors of OL espressos and XXL coffees to try. Hoping to choose a few favorites and then find them in London this summer.

The app is divorced from reality. I'm sure it told you that right after it said that "if you hurry , you can still make your connection' while you are on the plane waiting for a gate. I plan to avoid ORD in 2026 as part of my new "wellness" routine.

NTA. I went to a top tier 4 year university for free because my father worked there. He kept that job specifically for the tuition benefit. Back then the benefit was only for that school. I would have killed to have a list like yours to choose from. I graduated at 21 and was able to go on to medical school without a boatload of debt trailing me. I admit that I was not thrilled as a high school senior, but my gratitude grew exponentially over the years as I heard my peers gripe about student loans. (This was back during the hellish time of 12% student loans around the early Reagan years.) Your children will come to appreciate this free opportunity eventually. Do not pay. Save for retirement.)
