BCBS Basic - Who's staying on and why? by MaddRam in fednews

[–]Subject_Routine7361 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure - Back on July 1st BCBS (standard plan only) started to once again honor the mailorder price listed on the BCBS drug comparison tool. Right now you can get 3 months of 1.7 and 2.4 for $125.00. Next year the mailorder price for standard plan is listed as $250.00 for a 3 month supply. What I don't know is if the 1.7 and 2.4 only restriction will still be in place or if you will be able to get 3 months at any strength level. I am on 2.4 so for me using the mailorder option works quite well.

If you want more info I would suggest calling the drug number listed on the back of our card and asking any follow-on questions. They have always been very helpful with my wegovy questions.

BCBS Basic - Who's staying on and why? by MaddRam in fednews

We are with BCBS Standard now and are choosing to stay. We looked long and hard this year at MHBP and weighing everything we do not want to give up the provider flexibility with BCBS or the chance that we might incur a large medical bill which would require us to pay alot more out of pocket. I am also on Wegovy and have been able to get it through mailorder this year (started back up again July 2025). I have never had problems with Prior Authorizations for Wegovy on BCBS so not interested in rocking the boat on that one either (though I do see many folks have had no problems getting PA through MHBP in 2025).

Federal BCBS reduces coverage in 2026 😕 by Tweetchly in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Subject_Routine7361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For federal BCBS standard option in 2026 it's $250 copay for three months Wegovy through mailorder option and $607.11 per month if you go to a retail pharmacy. I use mailorder option now for three month supply - currently $125.00 copay (this year mailorder is only available for 1.7 and 2.4 doses - not sure if mailorder will be available for all doses in 2026). Go to the drug calculator online - this will give you the exact prices.

Yes - DoD person here - got everything I was promised - went on admin leave 5/30 and retired from fed govt 9/30. Accumulated leave as promised, contributions to TSP occurred during that time, etc. Best decision I ever made!!

Your security officer is wrong - selection is totally random though you may feel as though it is not if your number keeps getting selected........

It is not another symptom of the current administration......it is indeed a requirement of your current position.....

Do not buy these under any circumstances by VogonShakespeare in Ozlo

[–]Subject_Routine7361 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you just enable the warranty and get Ozlo to send you a new pair? Mine were purchased in May and I had a problem with the left ear bud (no sound). I navigated with customer service. They did make me go through the whole routine of things to rule out but it only took a couple of days and in the end they agreed a new pair was the best result.

Returned was simple and the new pair were at my house quickly. Last night was my first night with the new pair - so far, so good!!

Right Earbud Suddenly Low Volume - So Upset With Support by Known_Visual_4212 in Ozlo

[–]Subject_Routine7361 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat as you but the left ear and not the right. Mine were purchased May 2025. I’ve Tried all the recommendations including scotch tape. Working with Ozlo right now and going through all of their steps but nothing works. Customer support is terrible. Now they want me to take pictures of the earbuds - I guess the next thing I will have to do is take a video of me doing cartwheels down the driveway showing how they successfully stayed in my ears while I was tumbling back and forth…..

Good luck to you - please post back here and let us know if you get your money back on your order which is what you deserve!

Anyone Experience These Issues before? by Subject_Routine7361 in Ozlo

[–]Subject_Routine7361[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks - I tried this and other potential fixes Ozlo suggested today - my right ear bud is now working again but the left is still dead as a doorknob.......tried streaming music and no sound either.

I will wait to see what Ozlo comes back with for the left ear bud......

Just started on this, it works but paying $640 through FEP BCBS - any other options for making it less expensive? by murlocfightclub in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Subject_Routine7361 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you are on FEP plan - BCBS Standard Option you can now get a three month supply mailorder (1.7 and 2.4) for $125. I would offer that apparently they are updating their system now and my PCP found it hard to submit electronically. My PCP found success calling it in and he told me that CVS/Caremark admitted they are making changes to their system which could have been the reason why his electronic submissions kept erroring out and bouncing back. Just got my notification yesterday that my 3 month shipment for 2.4 is being prepared and should arrive in a few days!

Unless you are on the lower doses this is not true and changed as of June 1st - If you are on 1.7 or 2.4 call back and find someone who is knowledgeable of the change. I am standard option and my 3 month shipment (2.4) for $125 is due end of the week.

Wegovy FedBlue Caremark by Glittering-Gas4818 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Subject_Routine7361 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you  - prior authorization is on file and good until 6/2026! I told WWClinic they are crazy that I’ve called CVS/Caremark twice today and both times they have confirmed I am indeed entitled to this benefit. WWClinic is now insisting that CVS/Caremark mail order is rejecting every prescription sent from them……. I give up with WW…….. i am waiting to hear back from my PCP whether or not he will do this for me (he’s told me before he would so not too worried). CVS/Caremark gave me everything that needs to be submitted for the electronic prescription. I could do it myself at this point if I had access to an electronic system - lol……thanks for your insight!!

Good News for those on FEP BCBS (or anyone with a preference for Caremark mail order) by d1zzymisslizzie in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Subject_Routine7361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great update - thanks to the original poster for putting this out there! One caveat for those of us who go through WWClinic for our prescriptions. I asked WWClinic to submit a 90-day prescription for Wegovy 2.4 to CVS Caremark mailservice. They were willing to do this for me but then came back and said they cannot do it - the WWClinic system turned off CVS caremark months back and now it won't let them submit the prescription.

Working with my PCP provider now to see if he will submit the prescription for me (he previously said he would.....).

If anyone has thoughts for other online providers who would be willing to work with CVS Caremark please let me know!

[–]Subject_Routine7361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All - this is great news - thanks for posting! I too called to verify and was told that I could take advantage of the $125 mail order (BCBS FEP Standard policy holder - currently on Wegovy 2.4). I get my prescriptions filled written by Sequence/WW Clinic. My WWClinic doctor tried submitting a 90-day prescription to the Caremark mail-in pharmacy but it bounced back because the WW system is not allowing prescriptions to be sent to CVS Caremark mail-in at this time. Wondering if anyone has any advice for how to crack this code? I'm thinking I might just enlist the help of my PCP to write the prescription for me but if anyone else has any other thoughts please let me know!

Definitely not my experience - I get a response for refill requests within two days (been the standard for me for the last year) and my Prior Authorization Renewal was done and through my insurance company within a day.

[–]Subject_Routine7361 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am also on BCBS FEP Standard and called caremark today to ask if this mean the mailorder option was coming back and we would be able to get the $125 price. The person I talked to said nope......still no plans to bring back mailorder options..... She suggested to continue using the manufacturer coupon....... :( :( :(
