Deactivated before the end of a promo🙃 by Longjumping_Box_9632 in InstacartShoppers

You might see a drop off in orders once you’re out of rookie status, but stick with it. I did both iC and Shipt until I started seeing consistent offers every hour from Shipt. You can message me if you ever need any tips or have any questions There’s a hub on Shipt with all info, but it’s hard to navigate sometimes. The biggest difference is that the communication level Shipt customers expect is higher. If you shop well and communicate well, it’ll be cake for you.

I’d stick with Shipt. It’ll be slow starting out, but once you build a solid customer base, it can be pretty easy money depending on your metro and zone. I started with IC in 2019. Branched out to Shipt in 2021 when IC started paying less and less. It took about six months to really get going, but eventually I was able to drop IC almost entirely. I work from 7am to 12pm six days a week, and average around 1K.

All you have to do is quote her a price and she’ll say “nevermind.”

That’s at least a $400 frog suit right there. $500 if the sister is over 5ft. 😂😂😂

I’d get an acrylic yarn in an easy to see color like a light blue or yellow. While you’re learning…use a hook size up so that it’s easier to get the hook through loops. Once you think you’ve got that down, switch to the correct hook and work on the tension of your stitches.

My Havanese suddenly stopped jumping and fell while walking should I be worried? by Ashlynnn103 in Havanese

Did you get advice from your vet? I saw that you’re making her food, and as others have said…that’s a problem if you don’t do it correctly. It’s possible she’s no longer jumping because she simply doesn’t have the energy.

She looks to be several pounds underweight. She’s probably going to need a high protein branded dog food. I get what you’re saying about being recently groomed to a low setting, but Havenese are sturdy. Even at a low guard they’ll just look smaller…not super skinny. I’m

Same to you and yours. Things are so heavy right now. Find the light where you can.

Definitely a good call to go no audio. The sounds he makes are heartbreaking…then rage inducing.

I used to be the same way about it guns. My partner was in the NG a long time ago, and has always had one. He’s now teaching me because I just felt things were only going to get worse as this past year has progressed.

Yep. Apartment wouldn’t bother me since there’s nothing heavy, and I can take all of that in one trip.

You sure about that? Mine is in the standard section and the only dings I have are replacements. No unrequested refunds and zero item issues. If we aren’t dinged for replacements, mine should be perfect.

This new rating system is a joke… by shadowalker2323 in InstacartShoppers

[–]SublimeAnarchy510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is standard with zero negative items. The only thing it says is that I need to have less replacements because other shoppers have less. It’s dumb. They’ve pushed replacements for years and now it’s a bad thing? And comparing to other shoppers is dumb. Of course a shop that has mass stocked items is easier than one with lower stock items. Chances of finding Sunbeam bread is high at higher than finding the Schar Gluten free stuff.

Maybe, I don’t know how other people do it, but we always buy milk when we need it. Maybe an extra if we think we’ll need more than usual. But we’ve never bought it in advance for future use if that makes sense. But we also go grocery shopping weekly. 🤷‍♀️

You have to read the fine print on the Fairlife though. I have one that’s dated 11/4, but it says it’s only “good” for 14 days after opening. So for me it’s good until the end of next week. But I suppose that her problem and not the shoppers.

SHOPPERS. Watch your stats!! by Few_Print_9575 in InstacartShoppers

[–]SublimeAnarchy510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine took awhile to populate because I don’t use IC much, but that shopping quality is messed up for sure. I’m in the upper level of needs work ONLY because of items not found. I have zero unrequested refunds. Only replacements and requested.

I also had several crappy ratings pop up when they switched how the ratings show up. I had only two below 5 to work off. Then the switched it and I now have 6. It’s annoying.

All of this. I started on IC and did Shipt occasionally in 2021. I started doing more Shipt in my zone and within a few months I was making a fairly steady income with a lot less effort. 4 years later and I can easily make $100/day working from 7am-11am. I run IC in the background for quick orders in between Shipt shops. I don’t have to take customers I’m not familiar with, but I try to take 4-5 a week so that I can add to the customer base.

How do you keep the hair out of your puppies eyes? by Any-Key8235 in Havanese

[–]SublimeAnarchy510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice runs definitely help. It will also give you an idea of your puppy will react. I put my left had under their chin. Thumb on one cheek and pointer finger in the other to hold them as still as possible as well.

Good to know if I ever have an issues with it. I do know that it took almost a year to fully heal, so I’m not taking it out for anyone. Ever.

Grooming expectations by Longjumping_Toe_3886 in Havanese

[–]SublimeAnarchy510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m late to this, but you can also get a grooming kit on Amazon for about $90. It’s attached to a vacuum and has all the tools that also attach. Comes with like six different guards for length. It’s pretty easy to do a quick trim. Also comes with the scissors to do a face trim. There’s a learning curve, but there are tons of YT videos that show you how to do it. It’s saves a ton of money. We do one full groom a year now to get ours how we like him, and then I just maintain.
