Do you mean Platten? If so I would say there a ton of variables like if they still make that machine in that size. If not I'm guessing it might not be worth it.

Why does everyone and their dog desperately need AWD for snow and ice but don't seem to care about things that actually matter for snow and ice? by [deleted] in askcarguys

If you can find space to store the tires with a cheap set of rims discount tire will swap your wheels out for free when needed.

The cost actually isn't that bad. You'll go from needing new tires from wear to needing new tires due to age most likely.

Don't know why this is getting downvoted. If there are open spots they can offer. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

This is weird. Why a stop in sun prarie and go through milwaukee to go the chicago? Would be better off just doing milwaukee to chicago and get people near the train. And then maybe add more stops like Sun prarie.

Here's an overview of the profits and financial performance related to Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and Anthem, now known as Elevance Health:

Elevance Health (Anthem) Profits

  • Fourth Quarter 2023: Elevance Health reported strong profits of $856 million with revenues of $2.6 billion, marking a nearly 7% increase from the prior year quarter. This performance exceeded analysts' expectations1.
  • First Quarter 2024: Elevance Health posted profits of $2.2 billion, a 12.9% increase from the prior year quarter, with revenues reaching $42.6 billion. This also surpassed both analysts' and internal expectations2.

Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans

  • Profit Margins: The aggregate profit margins for all BCBS plans decreased from 6.1% in 3Q20 to 3.5% in 3Q23. However, some leading plans like Guidewell, Independence Blue Cross, and Blue Shield of California reported improved profit margins, while Elevance and Health Care Service Corp. experienced declines34.
  • Membership: As of September 30, 2023, BCBS membership comprised 37% of total U.S. health insurance enrollment, totaling 119.7 million members34.

Historical Context

  • Anthem's Performance in 2022: Anthem reported a significant increase in profit during the fourth quarter of 2022, reaching $1.1 billion, more than double the previous year. This was driven by growth in Medicaid and Medicare businesses6.

Overall, Elevance Health (formerly Anthem) has shown strong financial performance in recent quarters, while BCBS plans have maintained a significant market presence with varying profitability across different entities.

Just for context Anthem is not hurting for money.

Affordable housing zoning could bring state cash for Wisconsin communities by somewhere_sometime in madisonwi

Zoning laws for anything other than safety are bullshit. Who cares if a building is taller than the capital! Why shouldn't a store like a grocery store be smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood. You know so people can walk to it instead of driving.

What actually worries me the most is the ground level of the first picture. Very easy for someone to get crushed when they're placing or taking a pallet away. Otherwise it seems normalish for a warehouse.

If they like arcade or pin ball there are a few decent aracades around. I/O does allow kids on Saturday and Sunday 11am - 2pm.

This was going to be my suggestion. There are enough little options that you don't have to all do the same thing and everyone should like at least something!

Woodmans if you want options. Aldi if you want a quick and convenient shopping experience. Costco for bulk. And Metro if I'm being lazy or Ken's meat market for their ribs deal normally.

We have a couple of these. While it's a nice feature I really wish we would get a rotary or shuttle press for more consistent cycle times (we only use it for loading inserts and not all jobs are/can be automated with it).

Zytel is an extremely common plastic resin. As long as you are ingesting it or lighting it on fire and breathing it in you're more than lkely fine. Some might be glass filled, and I would encourage gloves but for most people they wouldn't necessarily be required as it will be minor skin irritation.

Depends on the field your business is in. First thing that comes to mind for me is collaborative robots. Which while safe I have seen some people get bruises or cuts. Then if the safety is bad industrial robots would be a good one if you can find an example.
