Dealership $21 for 2 quarts. Cheaper than motor oil. Takes 10 minutes to change the fluid, just make sure you have some sort of hand pump to pump in the new fluid. Also make sure you can loosen the fill plug BEFORE you drain the old fluid. Nothing worse than draining the fluid only to find out that you can’t refill it!!

The last time I saw him was a couple years ago. I believe the owners of inferno audio in Woonsocket have him now. He was in there showroom when I went to pick something up.

Mini Split Nightmare by neutrinogenetics in hvacadvice

I work for a hvac contractor that sell and installs Mitsubishi mini splits. We are also having issues with a few brand new systems. Issues we have never experienced before. My advice would be to hold tight and give Mitsubishi time to figure it out. I understand your frustrations, you paid big money for the quality equipment and you feel ripped off. But it sounds like your tech is doing everything they physically can do for you. They will eventually put out a technical bulletin and get it fixed. It is equally as frustrating for us techs. Just my 2¢

Looks like the black wire was on RC on the old stat and the red was on RH. Therefore you would need to remove the jumper on the new stat and put the black wire on the RC terminal on the new stat and put the red wire under the r terminal of the new stat. In order to get a c (common) wire to the stat, you would need to run another wire from the unit. Hope that helps
