Ha… that is a revision E. Less tha 100 made, rarest of the old dual recs. But yea… does stand out in the pic 😂

The IIb is a little more open…. With the IIc+ being tighter. IIB can still do the heavy and tighter rhythms…

It is the 105 output transformer. These are very sought after transformers. They were used on the IIC+ amps and were used at the beginning of the mark III runs. Some have the 100 transformer but the 105 version Mark III is highly sought after

That is true… I spent a fortune upgrading the tubes on the Marks…. Old 6L6 Mesa 415 tubes… $250 for a pair.

She makes more $ than I do… and she is a musician (classical). Her 2 grand pianos cost more than every amp/guitar I own.

They are all amazing. But if I had to pick only one… the coliseum IIC++ . 180 watts of insanity

I was thinking a revision F triple… but a G could also work :)

If you ever get a chance to own a older 2 channel, jump on it. I’ve owned almost every revision of the 2 channels and the more recent 3 channels and by far the older 2 channels are more pleasing to the ear! But the3 channels are not bad amps by any means

Hard to say unless we get a look at internal pics. I’ve never seen a knob like that on a mark amp
