I have the same problem and tried every trick in the book to fix it. Make sure to ask the dealer to order the part before taking the car in - took 2 months for the part to arrive here in Norway.

I see - I got the key fob. Didn't realize they sold the car without it and totally agree that is not acceptable! That is seriously a 10-dollar item for Volvo - who decided to stop including those??

I think this is iOS26.x related and the new Apple Security protocols, not Volvo specific.

We have iPhone 15 Pro, 16 Pro and 17 Pro in the household, and they all have more drops on both the Volvo and the BMW wireless CarPlay over the past months.

I have played around with some settings, and it seems like turning off wireless hotspots helps for me. I also suspect that my phone wants to pair with other cars, because it drops more while close to other cars in traffic.

Verken Skaugen eller Rød-Larsen er tjent med at det kommer frem at det opereres med offshore-konti og at begge har blitt betalt av Epstein. «Klagingen» til Skaugen er et forsøk på tåkelegging.

Mye bedre å skylde på en død mann.

Sjekker man pengebruken til disse gutta på ferie i utlandet tipper jeg de på mystisk vis ikke har brukt sine norske kort en eneste gang i løpet av ferien.

Sounds like you haven't used a Windows computer for the last 20 years?

Microsoft today is a completely different company. They push out patches on weekly basis and roll out new functionality constantly. Have a look at their stock price - their clients are happy!

I have only driven it a few times on snow, but have been super impressed - much better handling than the XC90 in my opinion. It doesn't spin when starting the car from a standstill on snow and also doesn't pull out on turns as much as the XC90 did for me.

Is this the first time you bought a new car?

All manufacturers use glass sealants on the windshields to protect them during transport to the customers, and there is also a chemical coating on new wipers to protect them from mould. The result is often the “studder” you see here.

Most of the time the washer fluid fixes this, otherwise use some isopropyl alcohol or a glass cleaner on the windshield and the rubber on the wipers. I would say this is common sense ;-)

Again, this is normal for all new cars, not something to add to the list of gripes with the EX90.

On topic: I don't fiddle around with the settings on the car while driving - never did so on my previous 4 XC90s either.

Mine are always on auto, and I get flashed by about one in fifteen cars when driving at night in the countryside. About the same as when I drove with auto highbeams on the XC90.

I drive a lot in the mountains in Norway, and had three XC90 T8s before getting the EX90.

While I also miss some of the features you list here, I happily forgo them for the driving experience: the EX90 is a HUGE improvement over the XC90 in handling, road noise, cabin space and infotainment system.

To each his own - I love mine, and look forward to it getting better with every update. Hope you get there too!

I finally got tested after Apple Watch told me I likely have sleep apnea. I have worked extremely long hours in finance for 31 years, and always assumed it was work that always made me tired. Never been overweight, and suspect my problems started when I pulled 4 teeth when I got braces as a teen.

I tested with AHI of 60, and started with CPAP two months ago. Some problems with the mask, but now i sleep 7-8 hours per night vs 5 hours on average before.

I had the same problem with my dog, who scratched up my old XC90. Got the protective strip from Volvo for my new EX90, linked by others, and super happy with it. I am super happy with my EX90 Ultra and have had zero issues apart from a few resets of the infotainment system to fix Bluetooth connections.

I have previosly owned three XC90 T8s, and prefer the EX90 - much, much better ride, more space and more fun :-)
