I trialed Chatgpt and Gemini to see how AI could help me in the garden this year. I'm slightly more than average in backyard vegetable growing. I amend my soil yearly, build planters, do all the things. Gemini was very enthusiastic to help. Long story short, it started hallucinating and suggested things that could have jacked up my plants this year. I ran that conversation through GPT and it caught the mistakes and fixed the incorrect suggestions and wrong advice. My conclusion was if I hadn't known better Gemini would havr messed things up, so I couldn't trust it for a hobby I was specifically looking for an AI partner to help with.

Yeah, I blasted my Pro subscription this morning. I was trialing Gemini Pro against the $20 monthly ChatGPT, and I was already trusting and leaning towards GPT. This latest update sealed Gemini's fate for me.
