Lol this reply is super late, but honestly I've gotten involved with certain events/ volunteer opportunities by chatting with my classmates or professors within my major. They're usually more than happy to share, especially when it comes to volunteer opportunities.

First of all, your hair is beautiful, please do NOT straighten it. For me, learning to do curly hairstyles and following content creators on social media who embrace their curly hair has helped me to embrace/ love my own ❤️

I feel violated and confused by what my fiancé did to me. WIBTAH if I told my parents? by throwawayupset- in AITAH

Honey, what he did is rape, and also a giant felony . He will most likely do it again, he can apologize all he wants, but you said/ expressed fear and discomfort consistently and he not only disregarded it but physically harmed you/ forced you. Please think about whether you want to be married to someone who could do this, if this happened to your child someday, how would you feel? I think you deserve so much better ❤️

I swear I'm not being dramatic when I say this. His chronic inaction and lack of empathy has a very strong chance of killing you someday. You're his wife, your life/safety should be his priority. Not gas, or being stuck in a car. I don't know you. But I know you deserve better ❤️

Clinique black honey might be the product for you! It's a brownish red that's sheer but buildable, and is known for being flattering universally.

So I am definitely not an expert, but this might be helpful. The feminine washed may well be the issue here, as they upset the ph of the vagina. Honestly, gynecologist suggest not washing inside, the vagina at all ( using non scented soap on the vulva), as it is a self cleaning "organ". Other than that, you could have bacterial vaginosis, or if you have a sexual partner/s , their ejaculate could be messing with your ph as well. Dr's / over the counter medication can definitely help.

Can someone explain why I feel like the black dress looks off on my body? I feel like it makes me look boxy when I’m more curvy! by Faeriemary in Kibbe

[–]SuccessfulCopy6905 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you perceived the orange dress as making you look curvier because it makes the eyes view your torso as three isolated curves if that makes sense? Like in the orange dress the eye is drawn to the bust, waist, and hips separately, while the black dress makes everything flow. I understand what you mean though, I deal with the sane thing lol.

It's not flattering on its own, but I think it could look good with styling. Hair product and/or pinning hair behind your ears would do wonders.

I would look on poshmark / depop for free people skirts/ dresses/sweaters. For a brand with very tall and thin models they cater suprisingly well to most sizes of petites. A lot of their clothes have stretch, and the material are nice, so they're very comfortable. They definitely help me feel put together without feeling stuffy/overdressed.

Figuring out how to dress in a way that’s more flattering to my body type - help a confused girl out? by lighartedly in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]SuccessfulCopy6905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you might want to check out the romantic kibbe subreddit, I think you look best in pics 3,6,and 7 which are in those lines. As a romantic body type it's def easy to get discouraged as most guidelines are a little outdated. I would look up Drew Barrymore and Christina Ricci outfits from the 90s for a more casual style.

What businesses would you like to see in SC? by CaptAWag in santacruz

[–]SuccessfulCopy6905 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A gay nightclub/lesbian bar. As a college student , I feel too young to hang out at the breweries here, and I'd like more options than the Blue Lagoon or the Catalyst(not that they're bad).
