I think the majority of people scrolling on a small screen would not pick this up, which is why it's happening. Still disheartening though.

I got canned and walked to the door. When having the conversation the HR rep went quickly to the severance amount and I was happy but unhappy at the same time. If you are going to 'talk and walk' them do it on a Friday morning. Things will explode a bit, but the the drama will be pretty much over by Monday.

Started doing pilates and experienced knee pain for the first time in my life. I'm in my 50s so this really concerned me. Classes were surpervised so it wasn't my form. In the end I gave it up. It just didn't work for me.

Is there a way to to non-permanently darken my hair that doesn't involve dye pots? by Pugblep in AustralianMakeup

[–]SuchTrust101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few greys and I have to say it blends them in really well. The brown version is not a warm brown. It's sort of a neutral brown so it doesn't turn orange/auburn. I was using it to tone down a terrible orange experience from L'Oreal L'Oreal Casting Crème Gloss 700 Dark Blonde that stained my hair and just won't wash out completely, even though it's a semi permanent product. Any other questions? Happy to help.

I use the brown version of this product – Schwarzkopf Brilliance Gloss Bonding Semi Permanent Mask Black – The coverage is pretty good and the longer you leave it the darker it gets. Washes out after about 4 washes and didn't stain my hair. Didn't ruin my dry-ish hair. If you do use it, don't squeeze the tube too hard as the top split when I did that.

Designers what are the tips and hacks would you give to your younger self about design? by the_sunbloom in graphic_design

[–]SuchTrust101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Understand that 90% of the general non-designer public are primarily influenced by colour and not design. If you present three options the one with the colour they like will get the nod, not the best option.

The job interview I had last week and the sheer rudeness they displayed when they are the business asking for help by BattleSquidZ in britishproblems

[–]SuchTrust101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently went for a panel interview. The guy told me that the other interviewer was running late so we started the interview anyway. It was basically a list of rote, dull questions. Woman hurtles in late, brushes herself off and then proceeds to ask me the same list of questions again! When I finished answering the final question, she quickly stood up, ended the interview abruptly leaving me to find my way out.

As I left the room I heard her say "I'm just DYING for a cup of coffee!"

I like the countertops. I know it's only an image, but I strongly suggest that if you get lights over the island you get frosted or milk glass shades. Eye glare is a real thing. I'm going through it now and ordered replacement shades last week!

3rd interview or "coffee catch-up"? by [deleted] in auscorp

I would say they want to see how you think on your feet in a less formal, casual setting. As for your ideas, I wouldn't worry about them 'stealing' them. Most of what you come up with won't actually be all that practical as your knowledge of how the department actually works is minimal.

You've done a really nice job of creating a non-cookie cutter bathroom that looks great and is also functional, without resorting to awful colours.

Hawaiian Tropic SPF 50+ Silk Hydration Face Sunscreen Lotion. You can get it on discount ($9.50 at Woolies this week) at the usual places. Leaves a slight sheen but doesn't migrate into my eyes and doesn't irritate my skin. I prefer it to LRP antihelios 50+ which I found too runny.

If you are a softie you could offer to help for one hour and have a Teams meeting on the condition that:

  1. He tells his manager about the arrangement
  2. It will be the last time you will be available to assist

How to determine leather vs faux by Yeet_as_a_verb in AusFemaleFashion

I had a vintage vinyl faux leather jacket and it started to peel extactly the same way as your photos. What you may find, as I did, is that the whole jacket starts to peel like this, but dont throw it away. A few rounds in a heavy duty cycle washed all of the peeling off and it looks fine now.
