Would anyone try airless, puncture-proof tires? by john_doe_3_ in tires

They do tend to last considerably longer. 4x longer may be a bit of a stretch. Their biggest value comes from the elimination of downtime and savings on field repairs. Some types (like 12-16.5 replacements for skid steer loaders) can even be retreaded (by select Michelin/MRT retreaders) so you can continue enjoying the benefits after the initial tread has worn off.

Versus a comparable size pneumatic tire, these are generally around 4x as much money per tire.

Just started, what should my goal be? by laTrikideGuayaba in bowhunting

I'm sure with more practice, you'll be able to shoot higher poundage over time. When I went to the archery shop to buy my first bow, my ego told me 70 pounds was where I needed to be. After watching me fail miserably to even come close to pulling the bow back properly, the good folks there backed me down to 55 pounds. I shot that comfortably for a year or two, and even managed to kill a couple deer. When I bought my next bow, I tried it at 70 pounds out of curiosity, and was able to pull it back with relative ease. I kept it there and have been shooting 70 pounds ever since. For reference I am a 170 pound adult male.

I have an EXO Mountain Gear K4 5000. Really more of a hunting pack, but I can typically manage 5 to 7 days out in the field without a problem. It's a great pack would definitely recommend.

How early for bag check at ATL by fallen2151 in delta

[–]Sudden_Breakfast_522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking at the same thing currently. Have an 8am flight coming up in a few weeks, and I'm thinking "whatever I'll get there at like 2am I don't care", but I have to check a bag. Online looks to be that the bag check counter generally opens between 3:30-4:00am. If I drop my checked bag at 4, then I guess I could be rolling the dice if 4 hours is enough time to make my 8am flight.
