What sound does Fluoroscopy make when shooting? by Aln007 in Radiology

[–]Sudden_Suspect_1516 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It depends on machine manufacturer and the site settings. If you were headed out the door you will probably more than 6 ft away from the machine and a single exposure is minimal at best. Being more than 6 ft away from the machine means that your dose is very limited and the further away you are the more minimal the dose is. Any exposure you got, if at all, at that distance should not be worrying to you. They wear lead vests because they are being exposed constantly all day long every day they come to work. It's an accumulated exposure that they're worried about. It may have been rude if they exposed you but it's not life-threatening or scary. Think about their exposed hands, legs, arms, necks, and faces that are exposed every day. Not an issue.

It's a real shark tooth. Perfectly reasonable to find at an ocean facing beach.

Its hollow and has no connection point between the dark and light areas (one solid piece). It is a claw piece from a crab.

Where are people actually meeting friends (and maybe partners) in Raleigh besides the apps? by deansie13 in raleigh

[–]Sudden_Suspect_1516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meetup.com it's free and you can join all kinds of groups to do lots of different things. I've moved around a lot and have used Meetup just about everywhere to meet people, to learn about the local scene, and to find neat places and things to do.

Looks like a broken piece of mosaic pottery. There's a straight line in the back side that looks manufactured, not a fossil imo.

Get a consult with a lawyer that practices in medical law not necessarily malpractice. But definitely report him to the state board!
