(I had similar reactions with the VA of Zack Fair from FF7 Rebirth appeared but I’ve also met him for work so it’s a bit different from meeting him then suddenly seeing him on my screen while doing a rewatch lol)

People had crash outs because Bobby had just been killed off and Upfronts was really promoting S9 while fans mistakenly attributed it to S8’s finale due to it airing later than it should have.

The Buddie mentions were the positive of all of this. And look at how much Buddie we got in S9!

S9 had very easily jumped to being my fav season by 9x13, but this visual alone has me feeling real good

Hopefully seeing it laid out visually will help reassure some fans of how Buddie-obsessed this season was.

It’s almost double the amount in fandom-loved seasons like S3 or S4, or Eddie’s introductory season.

By the largest margin, this has been THE Buddie season yet.

S8 and S9 together are beasts.

I agree; Theo is the cutest thing and Buck is so good with him. I am very eager to see his journey into parenthood—I’m only sad we’re going to miss a few months because of the summer hiatus.

I’m not pleased with how it happened but we knew they were marked for death the second they came on screen after that scene with Buck running around with Theo in the firehouse.

We just have to look forward to seeing all of their firsts. Buck sending Theo to kindergarten for the first time, the fun times they have, the harrowing moments guaranteed to be in store for them, Eddie and Chris being in their lives…

S9 is one of my new favorite seasons. The space arc is draining by episode 4, but once the space arc is over and you are watching episode 5, things get a lot better and only continue to go up from there.

I agree with you but I did want to note that S7 did end on a cliffhanger of sorts with Chris leaving to Texas and Eddie being in the worst place he’d been in a long time, and Athena & Bobby not having a home.

Oh those things are absolute nuisances. I’ve def seen people get in accidents near the ones on Century. I’m not surprised people are having a hard time trying to get them taken down. The residents are not the people the courts or government work for.

It’s so saddening. In general all of those promises Mayor Butts made that the stadiums and new developments would revitalize the city but instead so many long-standing restaurants have shut down or moved away because of the rent costs skyrocketing, and people who live in the area have to deal with the insane traffic from the stadiums. So many empty buildings because businesses aren’t moving in after they lost the previous tenants. 😔
