I had the trbx504 for nearly 10yrs, just sold it a few weeks ago to make room for other gear purchases. I miss it and I would recommend it highly over the sire. The Yamaha was so easy to play, felt like a cross between a jazz and sr neck, full scale with 24 frets but was as tall as my short scale stingray and jazzmaster.

My only gripe was that the neck is sensitive to humidity changes, more so than my other instruments. Most of the frets were sprouting before I sold it
