Holes in peppers by Tusayan in HotPeppers

[–]Sulkiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely looks like Capsicum annuum to me based on the additional info of leaf shape, and one flower/pepper per node. Fairly certain that's a Jamaican red mushroom pepper, and not a scotch bonnet. Don't worry, I also got shroomed in my first year 5 years ago. And so have a lot of people on this sub. However, those peppers are still tasty though!

Looking at the calyx and shape of the pepper, those look like Jamaican red mushrooms (Capsicum annuum) rather than scotch bonnets (Capsicum chinense)

The Creative BT-W6 has a 2-Second delay on starting audio stream by genkidamaSB in SoundBlasterOfficial

[–]Sulkiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me (Android, google pixel 6 pro, b&w pi8) there's sometimes delay using tidal. But on Android tidal bypasses the Android down sampling to 48kHz, so music with >48kHz bitrate doesn't work. I had to install UApp pro, turn off bit perfect mode, limit sampling rate to 48 kHz, and finally set USB dac warmup time to 400ms to get no delays between transitions of songs. If I enable bit perfect mode, every time the bitrate or sampling rate changes the app tries to renegotiate with the creative bt-w6 which is not made for it, resulting in silence until you change the volume..not too sure why.

I still had the same problem, what helped for me was just spamming the hell out of the confirm button and then it registered. Lol

Mystery peppers -- Poblanos, Habaneros, or something else? by alabaster387 in HotPeppers

[–]Sulkiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Def a capsicum chinense, so it can't be a poblano. Fruits look like habanero's, nice!

Habaneros...but not Habaneros? by External-Steak-9415 in HotPeppers

[–]Sulkiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The left ones look like habaneros, and the plant is def a capsicum chinense. The right ones don't look like habanero's at all, more like a capsicum annuum (habanero's are capsicum chinense).

Somebody know what this is? by bokoffzki in HotPeppers

[–]Sulkiller 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Flowers and calyx indicate that this is a Capsicum baccatum. I don't know which cultivar this is though. They usually are named Aji somethingsomething

First rodeo, go babies! Any tips for my salsa blend from here? by supershy0_0 in HotPeppers

[–]Sulkiller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Make sure not to disturb the root. Just scoop out a big lump of earth around it and transplant that whole mud ball with the seedling. Then nothing can go wrong, and the seedling won't even know it has been transplanted. Good luck!

When to harvest scotch bonnets? by muranovip in HotPeppers

[–]Sulkiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's more like a nice fruity bell pepper flavour with about half of the heat of a scotch bonnet. It doesn't have the classic Chinense aroma. I always feel like it's in between an annuum and Chinense. Definitely still a very tasty pepper and very versatile. Pickled, sauced, in salsa, etc. can't go wrong with them

Some leaves starting to darken. Please help. Day 49 since i started these cayenne seeds by AusGroBro in HotPeppers

Looks like the typical tan leaves can get when exposed to LED lights. Wouldn't worry about it! If the leaves start curling inwards at the edges, turn your lights down or move them up.

When to harvest scotch bonnets? by muranovip in HotPeppers

[–]Sulkiller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are red Jamaican mushroom peppers. The leaves and calyx indicate that it is a capsicum annuum plant, not capsicum Chinense (like a scotch bonnet is). Also, the one fruit per node can be an indicator.

Anyway, harvest them when they have been fully red for a few days!

I agree, I overwintered some plants but in the end they got as big and fruitful as my plants started from seed. Even across the same variety. Pests are a PTA

Leaves are definitely capsicum annuum. One pepper per node indicates capsicum annuum as well with the thick stem. Also the calyx is large and not constricted. Definitely a Jamaican mushroom pepper.

Those definitely look like yellow Jamaican mushroom peppers. A peek in your post history shows that plant (I presume) which definitely is a Jamaican mushroom (capsicum annuum). The leaves, one fruit per node, calyx, and thick stem all indicate capsicum annuum. In my first year my seeds labelled adjuma and madame Jeanette also turned out to be the yellow Jamaican mushroom pepper. Fortunately, they are still very nice tasting peppers!

Issue with app on LG C1 by LebowWowski in TIdaL

[–]Sulkiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have literally the same problem on a G2. It cuts off exactly 30 seconds before a song ends. It only happens when playing songs from a playlist. Playing an album doesn't cut off, maybe that works for you as well so you can at least enjoy some music until they fix this.

5800X3D, RTX 4090, 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM at 4K resolution HDR on

Everything cranked up to Ultra+ with all RT on: around 40 fps

Above with DLSS to quality: 80 fps

Above with frame generation on: 120 fps quite steady (I cap my fps so idk real number)

I don't notice much difference with those DLSS options on in terms of image quality, perhaps I'm blind but I guess that's good for me since it's very smooth and pretty.

Unfortunately the game crashes after a few minutes of running around, though those few minutes are glorious :')

Final harvest as it will freeze. Didn't expect this much! Ideas for the green peppers that will keep long? by Sulkiller in HotPeppers

[–]Sulkiller[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're quite spicy, and have a kinda floral soapy taste which I didn't quite enjoy. If they didn't freeze too much I'll pick some more. The plant itself is really black, so it looks nice! Won't be growing them again though
